In honor of Mark Witton and Darren Naish's new paper on Azhdarchid feeding and Mark's great artwork, who would win: And here's a size reference:

Real archosaurs, like the title suggests. Sorry if the poll is a bit confusing.

While I doubt the azhdarchid would weigh nearly 1 ton, the Tyrannosauroid would weigh over 7 tonnes. Massive size advantage, Tyrannosaurus takes this.

complete mismatch in favour of t.rex, it is much larger and is much more formidable. one ram or bite to the neck would destroy the azhdarchid.

Perhaps if I quote Witton then it will spice things up a bit and make yourself question those conclusions: Moreover, it should be noted than an Azhdarchid, while being much smaller than a Tyrannosaurid, looked a lot bigger due to the height advantage and would probably seem more intimidating. That beak is also something you don't want to mess with, as illustrated here:

If there were two healthy adult indiviuals, no doubt that Tyrannosaurus would've taken it. However, if it were one healthy pterosaur vs (Lets say) a abolesent, sick or Juvenile Rex, it could move to the pterosaur's favor. Because sometimes... Is complete and utteral BULLSHIT (No offence to you whatsoever, just pointing out facts)

Well its very obvious that the pterasaur can scare away a Tyrannosaurus rex. In the wild today alot of smaller animals scare away much bigger animals like a honey badger scaring away a PACK of lions, wolverine fight off several wolves and a leopard keeping 4 lionesses away. But in a senario where the Tyrannosaur and the pterosaur want eachothers blood there is gonna be a very dead Azhdarchid.

T. rex is more likely to be intimidated.

Its like putting Zilla (Pterosaur) with 10 copters (Equivilent to T-rex as in power for ex) with sidewinder missiles and putting them into combat. The copters (Rex) were smaller, but it did take down a much larger foe. Sure, the Rex would be like 'OMG WTF IT?! (Oh my god, what the fuck is that?!)' at first, but it could get to its senses (If it had any), and take it down with it's bone crunching mouth. If not careful, it could get stabbed on the side or spine, but its a 70/30 chance that T-rex would win, unless it was a juvenile.

It has been suggested a few times before that azhdarchids were possibly specialists in feeding on baby dinosaurs, using their flight abilities to search out nesting colonies and grab babies from their. An increasingly popular idea is also that azhdarchids may have at least partially filled the mid-predatory niche occupied previously by mid-sized theropods (which are mostly absent by the late Cretaceous), while the other part of that niche was being filled by juvenile tyrannosaurids in the northern hemisphere.

Thats true. Pterosaurs have been known on eating baby dinosaurs. Hatzegopteryx is one example:
