Gorgosaurus wins, it has a stronger bite and its much more agile. It is also probably bulkier because megalosaurs are not very bulky.

Gorgosaurus wins, it has a stronger bite and its much more agile. It is also probably bulkier because megalosaurs are not very bulky. Actually, megalosaurus were almost as bulky as the tyrannosaurs and abelisaurs. And gorgosaurus was actually a light weight tyrannosaur (albertosaurinae). |

True, but only the earlier Megalosaurids were gracile (Torvosaurus, Megalosaurus), while the later Megalosaurids (like the Spinosaurs) have been discovered to have wider, denser rib cages, thus making them bulky carnivores. But I do agree with Gorgosaurus winning the fight, mainly because it had a considerable size advantage, and was more robust. |

both have really powerful bites, but i think gorgosaurus would win mostly since it is faster and probably more robust in build. although megalosaurus has bigger arms and could give the tyrannosaur a run for its money, but mostly i say that gorgo wins.
