Is there any evidence for this? Also most megalosaurs are very gracile, much more light weight than Albertosaurinae. True, but only the earlier Megalosaurids were gracile (Torvosaurus, Megalosaurus), while the later Megalosaurids (like the Spinosaurs) have been discovered to have wider, denser rib cages, thus making them bulky carnivores. But I do agree with Gorgosaurus winning the fight, mainly because it had a considerable size advantage, and was more robust. Spinosaurus is not a Megalosaurid, but a Megalosauriod. Megalosaurids and Spinosaurids are in the Megalosauriod taxon. Its like Tyrannosaurids in the Coleosaurid Taxon or Alllosaurids and Carcharodontosaurids in the Carnosaur/Allosauriod taxon.

I would say.. Megalosaurus would win, because he has bigger arms with sexy biceps.

Soz, I'm not particularly knowledgeable on the different taxons, and I usually get mixed up when differentiating between Megalosaurid (which is a dinosaur family) and Megalosauriod (which is a dinosaur taxon).

This is now a mismatch considering that Megalosaurus is only 6 metres in length

So that means it's an allosaur, or a megalosaur?
