Yangchuanosaurus wins, it was bulkier and probably one of the strongest allosaurid bites ever. It was probably bigger on average aswell.

Not by much though, Torvosaurus would put up a good fight against Yangchuanosaurus. Yangchuanosaurus' winner title still remains though.

i would rather call this a close fight. yangchuanosaurus is indeed bulkier and has bigger arms, but torvosaurus has really huge teeth and a powerful bite, its bite was imo stronger than yangchu's. although the sinraptorid could easily give torvo a run for its money.

Yangchuanosaurus had a stronger build, while Torvosaurus had a really strong bite. I'll still go with Yangchuanosaurus.

Yangchu's bite was probably stronger if measured in PSI.

This fight really depends on the species of Torvosaurus.

This fight really depends on the species of Torvosaurus. torvosaurus tanneri a.k.a. the american torvosaurus is the one being used here. imo its 50/50 against t. tanneri, while the european torvosaurus wins.

Not completely sure of how much force Torvosaurus could exert with its jaw adductor muscles, but I will say that Yangchuanosaurus possessed a pretty impressive skull...

Some of the adaptations of Torvosaurus' teeth (deeply rooted, decently long and round in cross-section) and the relative robustness of it's skull (deep jugal, large articulated premaxillae) suggest it had a rather powerful bite for it's size; and Torvosaurus rivaled Tyrannosaurus in size; so it's possible it had either slightly less or slightly more power than T.rex, depending on jaw musculature.
Yangchuanosaurus lacks a number of these adaptations, so it seems it had a weaker bite than Torvosaurus, relatively speaking. Coming down to pure bite strength, Torvosaurus is the probable victor in this scenario, since it's bite is more dangerous to it's foe than it's foe's is to it.
