t.rex would win since it is larger and has a stronger bite, and has pretty much every other advantage except for jaw gape.

I agree that Tyrannosaurus wins, but Tyrannotitan would put up a good fight.

I wouldn't be to sure on T. rex having all the advantages... It seems that Tyrannotitan is very comparable to T. rex and even Giganotosaurus in size. With the new descriptions and papers on Tyrannotitan out recently suggest that it has the largest know femur of all known theropods. more: carnivoraforum.com/single/?p=8605849&t=9803769

If you accurately scale Tyrannotitan using Giganotosaurus, you will come up with around 12.7 metres and 5-6 tonnes for Tyrannotitan. Tyrannosaurus, if we are using Sue, is 12.3 metres and 8.4 tonnes. Tyrannosaurus still has a size advantage, and that is why is takes this win. Also, because they are evenly sized, Tyrannosaurus superior bite would have been another big advantage. Tyrannotitan did have a larger gape though.

I simply said that if you use other Giganotosaur remains to reconstruct Tyrannotitan properly, you get around 12.5-7 metres and 6 tonnes. Giganotosaurus is only around 6 tonnes as well, so it fits well.

If you Google 'Giganotosaurus Weight' nearly every source put Giganotosaurus at 6.5 tonnes. This is around the same size I mentioned Tyrannotitan to be. And even if Tyrannotitan was a lot bulkier, at about 7 tonnes, Tyrannosaurus is still more than a whole ton ahead.

A 13 metre long theropod like Giganotosaurus would rather weigh 7-8 tons, while a bulkier 12 metre long theropod like Tyrannotitan would weigh ~7 tons.

The Giganotosaurus holotype was 12.4 metres long and was just under 7 tons(probably heavier more than 7 tons because of the Density issue in hartmans estimate). With Tyrannotitan being even bulkier than Giganotosaurus so it would be larger than 7.5+ tons. Also tyrannotitan's estimates go to 13 metres and above which would put it at more than 8 tons.
