Bears and Lions are stronger, unless smaller. bears are stronger overall, but the gorilla is stronger than lions imo. It might be stronger, but still not much I bet.

I've heard that gorillas can lift their own weight x10 so maybe 2 tons or more. However I don't think that a gorilla would ever try to do such thing.

That's the point of the thread. Gorillas have around the same muscle percentage as humans, so I wouldn't expect that to be anywhere near true.

Funny though, they're not much more muscular. Gorillas have under 40% of muscle, and humans are around that range as well. Here's a chart:
