Carnotaurus wasn't really designed for hunting large prey, but 3 might be too overwhelming for the elephant.

Their isn't any evidence for Carnotaurus pack hunting and neither any abelisaurid pack hunting(that I know of) so I doubt they would be effective in a pack. Also as Cameron said Carnotaurus wasn't designed to hunt large prey items. An African forest elephant vs a single carnotaurus would be a better match.

This is a hypothetical debate where they do but whatever since we already talked a lot about this on Steam already. Carnotaurus is not designed for large prey due to their main weapon being very uneffective against larger prey, its angular and surangular aren't very impressive. The only possible advantage is that Carnotaurus has a better gape, but it is not gonna help much, and its weaker bite won't either. One of them will get killed easily, while the remaining two would be less trouble.

Still, I would not underestimate Carnotaurus' biteforce, it would not be enough to kill the Elephant but it would still hurt. Even Deinonychus, which had both angular and surangular around as thin had a strong bite for its size, and it is about 35 times smaller.

3 carnotaurus vs an African elephant may be to much though there's no evidence proving that carnotaurus hunted in packs anyway...I'm gonna give it to the carnotaurus since there's three of them and if there all hungry I don't think they'd need to help each other they'd just kill the elephant based on primal instincts

This thread needs more attention. If 3 animals' lives are threatened, they'll rather fight back instead of standing there, just because they were never proven to do something. If we were to base our debates on this, we wouldn't have any dinosaur fight debates at all.

I don't think 3 Carnotaurus would have the tools to beat a bull bush elephant, so I'm leaning towards the proboscidean.

Carnotaurus - not equipped for killing prey of that size
African bush elephant - equipped for ramming into anything

If the elephant is a female, it might loose. But if it is something like a great tusker elephant, it might win, but it'll probably die of the injuries that the carnos caused.
