Zhuchengtyrannus wins its more bigger and it has the jaw and teeth to crush that poor Yangchuanosaurus. Zhuchengtyrannus was 10 meters long while Yangchuanosaurus is 8-9 meters long.

  Here are some images of the maxilla and teeth of Zhuchengtyrannus. The specimen of Zhuchengtyrannus is incredibly fragmentary, but the shape of the teeth and dentary indicate to us that Zhuchengtyrannnus was a fairly typical large Tyrannosaurid. From this, we can probably compare the teeth and maxilla of Zhuchengtyrannus with Tarbosaurus or Tyrannosaurus, and perhaps come up with a liable size estimate for Zhuchengtyrannus. archosaurmusings.wordpress.com/2011/04/01/notes-on-the-taxonomy-and-identity-of-zhuchengtyrannus/If Zhuchengtyrannus was within the 10-12 metre size range, it would probably win this fight due to it being heavier at parity with Yangchuanosaurus, but it would be a particularly close fight. |
