Not wanting to believe it is discrediting it. You know what? Recently I have realized I have been getting so many definitions wrong my entire life. Well lol

Hmm. That tripod model is very interesting to say the least. Interesting to see the many different changes that are being made to Spinosaurus every day!

Guys, arent you going too far of the topic? You did the same thing in Oxalaia vs Daspletosaurus. I am saying that, but this debate is actually very interesting.

Wait a minute. When people start speculating about tripod Spinosaurus on this thread on here, and Oxalaia possibly being Spinosaurus on the Oxalaia and Daspletosaurus thread, it is ok.
But when I say something about Epanterias on a Baryonyx vs Allosaurus thread it is unnecessary speculation? What?
Anyway, to get back on topic, IF this tripodal Spinosaur proves to be true, who would win here? I would still go with Tyrannosaurus because of a slight weight advantage.

I would still go with Tyrannosaurus because of a slight weight advantage. the "Tripod" form show a weak point(the neck) making easer to the T-rex bite it, but the Spino has claws, but, his claws were made to grab fish and didn't move like our arms, and the T-rex was bulkier than the creatures the spino hunted, making it harder to hurt him

Don't ask me, ask the person who told you not to bring up Epanterias as it was speculation, I'm pretty sure that wasn't me

Because this is all we have of Epanterias Also the Tripod Spinosaurus we are not speculating we are as cameron said discussing the basis of the scientific article that actually has been posted within the past 100 years unlike Epanterias's remains which are either lost or in storage for enterinity. Also Oxalaia being Spinosaurus is complete speculation, I don't know where you got the idea that its not.

I doubt Oxalaia is Spinosaurus. It's not a big deal anyway.
Tyrannosaurus would still win against the tripod model. Although the tripod model could easily defend itself, with its tail dragging along the ground and very vertical posture I don't see it being any where near enough mobile to prevent oncoming attacks from the much more agile Tyrannosaurus. Plus, the mass and bite force advantage goes to the Tyrant Lizard King.

Being positioned vertically does not necessarily make you unagile, look at humans.
