I would like to point something out You seem to be forgetting the theory of the entire predatory ecosystem in the kem kem bed formation being dependant on aquatic life.

The fact it's a theory is exactly the reason why I didn't bring it up, I was trying to make a more factual statement than a theorical one.

Gravity, evolution and the expansion of space are also theories. Still doesn't make them false or less "factual". Not only that its your apparent "factual" statement is not a fact at all as there are opposing theories to it which hold just as much evidence for its argument as vice versa.

I'm not sure you really are going anywhere using gravity and evolution as examples, they are theories with more certainty than any sort of relevant competition here. Not just that, but competition isn't all that relevant here, why was it brought up again?

I saw a couple people saying Spinosaurus wins in water.
But my response is that Tyrannosaurus would not be in the water. Dinosaurs do not take baths. Well, we can assume they do not.
I guess if Tyrannosaurus were in the water because it was retarded then Spinosaurus would win. Otherwise on land, Tyrannosaurus wins.

Yea, but Tyrannosaurus is still not going to be particularly mobile in most levels of water depth

Spinosaurus did not live it's whole life in water. It spent a lot of time there. Hence the term semi-aquatic and the same applies for a crocodile. But, I guess it does make sense for that to be its "element". So I guess you are right there. And why would a Tyrannosaurus swim? We have evidence of island going predators swimming, but not large ones who live on a large landmass. At least to my knowledge. And even if it did bathe, why would it completely submerge itself in a lake? I would think it would stay in shallow water, like birds. Or at least land-going birds. If I am wrong, please, feel free to correct me.

Toss it in the water, it will swimm. It’s density if lower than that of water!
And animals cross rivers all the time, even in arid environments. There’s no way Tyrannosaurs would always stay out of the water. By the same logic, how likely would it be for a semi-aquatic animal to venture out onto land in the presence of a big terrestrial predator?
