So, as many of you probably already know, I work at the LA Museum of Natural History as a weekend job. It's a really fun job, I get to meet a lot of awesome people, and I get to see and talk about a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff as part of my job. However, most of the time that I'm there I'm giving presentations about extinct animals to the public in a little booth that I've set up. I show off fossils, put out pictures, and play a documentary while I talk with people.
Thing is, I've only really been showing the Walking With Dinosaurs series while I talk, and because I want to be a little bit more well-rounded as well as show off some more modern reconstructions of dinosaurs and other extinct animals, I wanted to find out some other documentaries which I could present. Anything will do, but preferably I would like very little if any talking heads (I sometimes have to mute the video and only the imagery is shown, so I don't want any mute human faces). I'd also like something similar to WWD, which I already know is relatively uncommon...
Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Many of them these days, have talking, maybe a tad bit too much for you, but here are some of my recommendations. (Also you work at the LA Natural History Museum?! I hope we could run into each other someday!)
1. Planet Dinosaur (Made by BBC, who also made WWD. Very good series)
2. The Truth About Killer Dinosaurs (There is a little more talking in this one, but it shows good and scientifical evidence. However it is 2 parted, First one being Rex vs Triceratops, and 2nd being the velociraptors)
3. WWD "Special Editions" (These include 'The Giant Claw' 'Land of Giants' and 'Sea Monsters' Nigel Marven speaks in these films though through first-person though)
4. When Dinosaurs Roamed America (Another good one. Has talking as well, but not AS much)
5. Jurassic Fight Club (This has a good amount of action and scientific facts. However, stick to the fight scenes, which are at the 2nd half of the episodes)
6. Last Day of the Dinosaurs (Less talking in this one, but more gruesome)
And 7. March of the Dinosaurs (More action, less talking. Its good!)
Hope these work out!

Some people like it, but the technical bits kinda make people lose interest. One thing I should've probably noted above is that most of the people who come up to my booth are little kids, so being little kids, they like colorful stuff and a lot of behaviors, not technical things or talking heads. This also makes me unable to show things like JFC and Last day of the Dinosaurs, as I can't show gory stuff to them (and I might lose my job if I do). :/ When Dinosaurs Roamed America and March of the Dinosaurs are some great options that I've wanted to show before, but sadly they aren't available on Amazon (as I play the videos on my Kindle) and I can't find places to download them off the internet either.

I looked on Amazon earlier and both were available, but only on DVD. Do the staff let you bring in a T.V to the museum? Or IS there a T.V over there? If so you could show it from there. If not, oh well. BTW, here are a few others: Prehistoric Park, Giants of Patagonia, and The Dino King (Aka: Tarbosaurus 3D). Edit: Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure (By NatGeographic), Ballad of Big Al, and Flying Monsters. And for even smaller kids, maybe Dino Dan?

well I would suggest dinosaur revolution but that has alot of talking in it so no, there are not many dinosaur documentaries that are just dinosaurs. When dinosaurs roamed america and march of the dinosaurs are on amazon and the only other thing I can think of with not technical or human bits are the walking with dinosaur specials. Dinosaur planet might be a good choice since there is only a tiny bit of talking in it though.

And Dinosaur Planet has a good amount of blood in it too... Remember, these are LITTLE KIDS. Not exactly teenagers.

JFC doesn't have very scientific facts, it exaggerates Tyrannosaurus' and Allosaurus' sizes and power massively, there is no way that Allosaurus could weigh 4 tons unless it was a freakishly large specimen (Epanterias), and Tyrannosaurus was depicted as an almost invincible god, which it is not.

Dinosaur Revolution and Planet Dinosaur, if you cut the gory parts off. What exactly do you want them to learn? I can search for more documentaries or maybe just Youtube videos.

Last Day Of The Dinosaurs or the whole dinosaur planet series are my favorite, they show actual footage of the dinosaurs and next to no 'mute human faces' . Occasionally on the dinosaur planet series someone ( I think It's dinosaur george now I think about It) talks for a minute at most though but other than that...

As a whole the best suggestions would be: -When dinosaurs roamed america -March of the dinosaurs -Planet dinosaur -Walking with dinosaur specials -Walking with beasts -Walking with monsters
Those are probably the best suggestions suggested so far

When I was a kid I just loved the Walking with... series! I liked pretty much a special named Sea Monsters. I also remember that in Sea Monsters I was getting kind of freaked out by Dunkleosteus. Just watch this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkFPQ9bOzdY_) and I think that you will understand why.

JFC isn't very factual but I suppose you could use snippets of some of the plausible action scenes (not too bloody, because presumably some adults wouldn't be on cloud nine about their kids watching brutal fight scenes).
