Baryonyx. Neovenator weighs 1543 pounds, and, like you said, Baryonyx weighs in at a good 3-4.5, and it's a lot longer. Not quite a mismatch, but still, 70/30 in favor of Bary.

i think 700 kg is really too low for neovenator. big al, a subadult allosaurus at the same length weighs 1.5 tons, i think neovenator would be closer to that size.
baryonyx would still win though due to its size advantage.

Neovenator weighing 1.5 tons is impossible. Saurophaganax (a much larger Allosaurid) weighed only 3 tons. Neovenator was only around 700 kg in weight, making the 4.5 ton Baryonyx around 6-6.5 times larger than Neovenator. Baryonyx would win due to its massive size and strength advantage (as you said). |
