This depends. If the Allo was alone, it could be 50/50. If the Allosaurs are in a pack, it would be more in the Allosaur's favor.
Im giving it a tie.

50/50. It's a classic example of species jingoism, so there's no reason they wouldn't be perfectly adapted to fight each other. Even in herds or packs, it's pretty much 50/50 still, unless the herd/pack is flat out massive.

While I do have to disagree about still being a 50/50 with the whole herd or pack thing. (Notice how Allo is in the middle of a Stego Herd)

This is no way a 50/50, Stegosaurus wins most of the time. Stegosaurus was actually similar in size (if not the same size), plus predators mostly lose in fights against armoured prey. Plus, herbivores usually live in small to large groups, Allosaurus would be lucky to find a lone Stegosaurus. Fighting a Stegosaurus that is in a group would be nearly suicide.

This is stegosaurus stenops, which was only like 7-6 metres long. Allosaurus wins against stenops. Learn your subspecies people.

This is stegosaurus stenops, which was only like 7-6 metres long. Allosaurus wins against stenops. Learn your subspecies people. Stegosaurus would still win, herbivores usually win against predators. Plus, Stegosaurus would be probably near other individuals. Most herbivores actually live in groups or packs or whatever.

Doubt it, even a 9 metre stegosaurus wouldn't kill Allosaurus with its tail with in one swing(but it would make it unable to continue) stegosaurus stenops is much dimentionally smaller than Allosaurus, I am making a size comparison.

This is stegosaurus stenops, which was only like 7-6 metres long. Allosaurus wins against stenops. Learn your subspecies people. The average size for an Allosaurus is about 7-9 meters, so it's not a gigantic size difference. "Meters" just makes it sound twice as large, when really, the largest Allosaur specimen (AMNH 680) is only about 6 feet larger than the biggest Stegosaurus (which actually was around 7 meters, though amplexus could reach 9).

i would give the fight to allosaurus since it would really just need to bite stegosaurus on the head. but if it gets severely thagomized then stegosaurus wins.
