Yutyrannus had a large size advantage, so I believe it would win.

The winner is the one that has the powerful bite.

This fight is kinda close, Yutyrannus is not very bulky and neither is Ichthyovenator.

They aren't in the same family, they have a different anatomy, weight=size not length=size. Although I believe they were similar in mass terms. I believe Yutyrannus would win, it was not really bulky compared to other tyrannosaurines but it had a much stronger bite. I would give it to Yutyrannus, jaws are more reliable in a dinosaur fight than arms.

Yutyrannus has more incommon with allosaurus with its physical aspects but its still a Tyrannosaurid/Coelurosaur. Also just because its in a certain family doesn't mean it will have the same features or attributes.

Also just because its in a certain family doesn't mean it will have the same features or attributes. I have calculated Yutyrannus' biteforce with a really low estimate due to its weaker skull. Still got a higher result than what I expect from Ichthyovenator, although I wouldn't say it's too superior to Ichthyo's biteforce.
