Torvosaurus tanneriTyrannosaurus rex Verdict: Originally, I thought Tyrannosaurus would normally have the advantage over Torvosaurus; however, since the sinking of Edmarka rex into Torvosaurus tanneri, this battle has become a lot more even. Both animals have similar sizes, similar bite forces; they're already on parity, and some of the adaptations in the skull of Torvosaurus suggests it had a powerful bite for a megalosaur, possibly on par with that of Tyrannosaurus. Tyrannosaurus has the advantage of binocular vision, but Torvosaurus' arms, while not amazingly long, are thought to have been very powerful. Getting in close is a gamble on both ends, but overall I think Torvosaurus has the advantage of being overall a ridiculously robust animal; with a barrel-like chest and short, but very powerful arms. Despite T.rex's overall more advanced design, I think Torvosaurus stands well able to take on a Tyrannosaurus, and both animals seem to have an equal chance of victory in this fight. Results: 50% for Torvosaurus, 50% for Tyrannosaurus.

I should probably note that both animals are at parity (since Edmarka rex was sunk into Torvosaurus tanneri, that means that I'm using that estimate for Torvosaurus).
Plus, Torvosaurus' arms are thought to have been ridiculously strong for their length, so it's really a even matchup even in bite force (since adaptations of Torvosaurus' skull suggest it had a pretty hefty bite in and of itself, not even counting musculature and force).
I'm still advocating a 50/50 split.

At parity, Tyrannosaurus would most likely have the stronger bite force, so I would favour it slightly over the Megalosaurid due to this weaponry advantage. Also binocular vision isn't necessarily an advantage for Tyrannosaurus, as most carnivorous theropods would have had it in order to hunt as effectively as possible.

Possibly 65& to the T-rex. It was heavier, stronger and longer. And the fact Tyrannosaurids had a stronger bite force than Megalosaurs/Allosaurs

Tyrannosaurus for sure. Torvosaurus won't be destroyed, but unless at parity it's not the fairest fight.
I can't stand seeing Rex with feathers I know it's probably accurate, but...

It is at parity. Torvosaurus tanneri has a good chance, but if I am not to say it is very close, Tyrannosaurus rex wins.
