Looks like Cretoxyrhina is not bigger than an Great White Shark, so I think Liopleurodon wins this fight.

They were about the same size, but I think 50/50 for this one until I can gather more information.

i would say that liopleurodon would win 55/45. both were nearly the same size, but liopleurodon has a deadlier bite imo since pliosaurs have some really nasty jaws.

The shark would win, its much bigger. The Liopleurdon is 7 metres and 1.7 tons or 1736kg for the Estimated speciemen. Since this is a water creature the volume of litres. We can assume 1 litre is 1kg. So this speciemen would be 1.736 tons as said in the paper. While the shark averages is 6 metres in length, how heavy is it you ask? Well the shark is extremely similar to the Great white shark, 6 metre Great whites weigh 2.2 tons in weight! There was also a 7.6 metre long shark carnivoraforum.com/single/?p=8469362&t=9339796I can safely say that, that shark can is 2.8+ tons. The shark is probably more maneuverable and is much bigger so the shark takes this.
