Both of the last two skeletals are outdated, Hartman has updated them.
And Utahraptor ostrommaysorum was actually pretty close to 1,000kg.

Except the weight of Utahraptor, every where Ive looked it says it weighed a maximum of 1500 lbs, and most say it weighed only 1,100 pounds....

MonolophosaurusI've heard of a paper which states it to be larger then previously stated, but I'm sure 600-700kg would do fine.

MonolophosaurusI'd bet on Allosaurus fragilis, seeing as larger predators usually best couples/groups of smaller predators.

depending on the specimen we're using, 2 utahraptors are a bit too overwhelming for an allosaurus

Even though there are two utah raptors id say allosaurus has this. It has a huge weight advantage. It could probably cripple a utah raptor with one blow. Its just far more bulky and can deal more damage.

not really. new findings on utahraptor have shown their considerably heavier then it was first originally believed. its proportions are actually quite similar to allosaurus. two are a bit to much since dromaeosaurs are adapted to grapple down prey items and lacerate and crush prey items with their massive sickle claws and gripping force. for those who are wondering, heres the new look for utahraptor credit goes to scott hartman

It actually does not look surprisingly robust in comparison to Allosaurus fragilis (although that may depend largely on the specimen), and the fact it's a side view doesn't help a lot.

I never said it was just as robust. I remember reading that utahraptor isn't just larger by the profile view. its overall crossection is actually quite similar with some medium sized carnosaurs.

care to explain why. I stated that utahraptor was fairly robust build that can even be quite compatible to carnosaurs,( although a bit more slimmer) and then you retaliated by saying that it doesn't look as surprisingly robust as an allosaurus( which is quite obvious) and saying that a silhouette is an improper way of judging an animals size, which I would of agreed with if it weren't for the recent discoveries of utahraptor being a good deal heavier then what was previously presumed. anyway, I think its a really close fight whith imo, the droms would come on top the majority.
