Definitely not jungles; rainforest habitat didn't appear until the Early Eocene, as the types of angiosperms that they are made up of hadn't evolved yet. Jungles weren't part of any Mesozoic ecosystem, unlike what pop culture tries to make us believe.
Deserts are a far more likely terrain given the ecosystem and the geography at the time. I haven't really read much on Triassic ecosystems, but as far as I know there is nothing objecting to the idea.

Probably sub-desert or flat-grasslands? Grass didn't evolve until 55 mya. Grass actually appeared 67 million years ago, but it was only in india and since india was a small continet at the time grass didn't spread till a few hundred thousand years ago when india collided with asia.
