This is my first attempt to make a tutorial.
IN THIS TUTORIAL, I WILL TEACH YOU HOW TO ADD SIMPLE CYCLES TO YOUR ANIMATION, IF YOU HAD NOT KNOWN ALREADY.
Cycling is a technique where you copy paste a movement multiple times so that it looks like a cycle. This technique is mostly used for walking, as it can make the walk animation much easier and more accurate.
The first step (and the hardest) is to make the base cycle.
To make the base cycle, you simply just make one full loop of the cycle. This step may be difficult to animators who are not experienced with walking animations.
The second step is to highlight all the frames for the base cycle.
To highlight all the frames, go to the frames section at the top of the window, click on the first frame of the base cycle, and then click on the last frame WHILE HOLDING SHIFT.
The third step is to copy the frames.
on the top left corner, there should be an icon of two papers. This is the copy button. Select it to copy all the frames. After copying, make sure to deselect the selected frames by clicking on any frame and clicking on Add Frame. DESELECTION MUST BE DONE BEFORE PASTING OR ELSE THE CYCLE WILL NOT COME OUT AS EXPECTED
The fourth and final step is to paste all the frames as much as you need.
Below the copy button, an icon of a clipboard that was previously black and white should now be colored. This is the paste button. Select the button to make one more cycle. Click on it more to make more cycles.
1 click=2 cycles
2 clicks=3 cycles
4 clicks= 5 cycles
9 clicks= 10 cycles
AND THAT IS ALL FOR THE TUTORIAL! THIS TUTORIAL MAY BE UPDATED DEPENDING ON THE HELPFULNESS OF IT. I HOPE IT HELPS, AND PLEASE VOTE ON THE POLL!
