Speculated Baryonyx: 10.5 metres in length and 3.5+ tons How far can it get in this gauntlet of fights? Round 4: Baryonyx VS Great white shark (in shallow water) Great white shark: 3 metres in length? and ~1 ton Round 5: Baryonyx VS 2 Allosaurus fragilis A. fragilis: 9 metres in length and 2+ tons Round 6: 2 Baryonyx VS Iguanodon Iguanodon: 12 metres in length and 6? tons Round 7: Baryonyx VS Albertaceratops Albertaceratops: 6 metres in length? and 2 tons Round 8: Baryonyx VS Tarbosaurus Tarbosaurus: 10 metres in length and ~3 tons Note: when I put an ? next to an estimate, I am unsure of the estimate. Change it if it is not correct.

How does Iguanodon win?
Round 1: Baryonyx wins, we have no evidence of abelisaurid co-operation so this is in the baryonychine's favour.
Round 2: Quite close, I guess Baryonyx does it
Round 3: Baryonyx wins easily, obvious reasons
Round 4: Are you serious? Baryonyx wins
Round 5: Not sure, it's probably 50/50. Slight edge to Baryonyx I'd guess
Round 6: Baryonyx wins
Round 7: Albertaceratops is around that length, and that would be around two tons as well. Baryonyx can win
Round 8: Tarbosaurus wins without much trouble

Alex there is evidence that the immature specimen of Baryonyx hunted a sub-adult Iguanodon... 2 adult Baryonyx at this size would be more than capable of taking down one adult Igunaodon.

Also considering that Baryonyx didn't hunt in packs... So? This is hypothetical. That's why it is in the 'Fictional' Interspecific conflict section...

Unless you mistook it for Allosaurus fragilis, I don't really see how in this case

Dude, its two 8 metre Allosaurus weighing 2 tons. That's the size of Allosaurus fragilis, so that doesn't matter. They're even bulkier than Allosaurus fragilis. And they aren't all that small compared to the Baryonyx, they will just overpower it.

The 9 metre long specimen of Allosaurus fragilis is around 2.5 tons in weight from most estimates I've heard, which is larger than the 8 metre long 2 ton Allosaurus europeaus. This may not seem like a huge difference, but the square cube law dictates that smaller objects (not implying that these animals are anything close to smalll, but compared to massive animals like Argentinosaurus etc. they are) have less weight difference between them, but as you start to get larger the difference becomes far greater. Therefore, the smaller species of Allosaurus europeaus is not bulkier, or wouldn't be for that reason.

If you follow the logic that bulk = length/weight, then there isn't a very large difference, but the larger one is actually bulkier. But bulk isn't measured all that correctly from length/weight ratios, if anything even the humerus will give a much better result, though I can't properly remember how, but the length/weight ratio works in some cases. And I agree that two Allosaurus europaeus of those dimensions would overpower that Baryonyx, unless it has some special trait, though it doesn't seem all that much larger to overpower the two.
