After Ankylosaurus' recent downsize, it is most likely ~1.7-2 tonnes in mass. Deinosuchus rugosus is also near that. I would give it to Deinosuchus since it can use its weaponry more efficienly than Ankylosaurus. It would be a very quick yet nice fight to witness nonetheless. Here is also a paper on mass according to length on the dinosauria, considering that nkylosaurus is now ~6 metres: Here's the reference as well: dinoweb.ucoz.ru/_fr/4/A_new_method_to.pdf

One strong swing from Ankylosaurus's tail would break the croc's head open like a watermelon. I really don't know how it would go

Ankylosaurus's tail strike is 2000 pounds per square inch which can break something like a rex leg. One strike to the head would bust its brains open.

Because it can attack much quicker than an Ankylosaurus, in fact if this fight ever happened it would be because the Ankylosaurus was drinking in a water body when the Deinosuchus got its head and dragged it to the water, doing the deathroll if possible. Deinosuchus would most likely drag the Ankylosaurus to the water in this situation, where Ankylosaurus would be totally helpless. Deinosuchus is not gonna attack Ankylosaurus from the back for obvious reasons, and even if Ankylosaurus was a quick turner, Deinosuchus wins here due to the fact it is probably more agile and since it wins under the most common conditions.

How the fuck is a crocodile more agile? Agile animals are quick turners and this is a hypothetical senario so they are both face to face and Ankylosaurus is covered in freaking armour.

However, once the Deinosuchus does a quick attack and bites the Ankylosaurid's head, there is not much that can be done. Once Ankylosaurus' head is being hold inside the crocodile's jaws, Ankylosaurus can't just hit it with his tail - it's just not possible, its tail would break before that could happen. I would say the crocodile has the advantage here.

if deinosuchus could bite ankylosaurus on the leg, neck or head then it might be able to win, but it loses if it gets slammed by the tail club.

They are face-to-face I can easily see Deinosuchus biting its head first. But it might get hit as well but once it gets the head I think that is a bit unlikely.

Crocodiles can jump on land, this is a larger Crocodile yes. It would ot be that agile, in fact it would be much less agile but it seems still able of doing that.
