Yutyrannus is basically a Allosaurus in tyrannosaur form Except Yutyrannus is slightly smaller giving Allosaurus a small advantage... It is not even a significant size advantage, in fact both are probably around 2 tons. Yutyrannus has a stronger bite as well which gives it an advantage over Allosaurus' weaponry. But it's still pretty close. |

stops at daspletosaurus imo. I don't think so, 6 Allosauruses can stand a good chance against Spinosaurus. I am not very sure, but it's obviously no mismatch. But since they are in groups against larger dinosaurs I am sure Allosaurus wins most of these. |

But since they are in groups against larger dinosaurs I am sure Allosaurus wins most of these. but this is ONE allosaurus against daspletosaurus. and what does six allos beating a spinosaurus have to do with allosaurus vs daspletosaurus? and of course it's not a mismatch at all. |

Both Daspletosaurus and Allosaurus are the same size though. And it is quite obvious what they have to do with eachother really. |

The spinosaurus would crush the allosaurus, larger animals are much more effective against smaller animals than the other way round. Just because they weigh the same weight when combined it doesn't give it a significant advantage, bears can overpower and scare off more than 10+ wolves from a carcass and lions can do the same to hyaenas. Also I doubt yutyrannus has a stronger bite they are very similar in size and the skull of yutyrannus isn't that impressive:   Allosaurus is bigger and can get quite a bit bigger than yutyrannus. |
