Suchomimus vs Therizinosaurus

If this was a fight to the death the predator's more agressive nature would probably lead it to win, but I think in a real life scenario the Spinosaurid would pay little interest to the well-armed herbivore and probably leave it alone to go for less troublesome prey.

Of course Suchomimus tenerensis wouldn't win so easily, but saying that Therizinosaurus wins simply because of its claws? Gotta say, that's one of the most overrated dinosaurs - how are its claws going to kill? Stabbing its opponent? It couldn't really do that, its arms are not designed to properly do this, and even ignoring that fact, I fail to see it happening so easily. None of the animals we know with longer claws are deadlier than other average animals around the same size. I can't see how Therizinosaurus can actually is going to kill its opponent half of the time, as I already said on the other thread and will repeat as much as necessary, claws do not work better than jaws most of the time, otherwise we wouldn't see predators developing powerful jaws rather than using their claws to kill.

Long story short, Suchomimus wins more often than not.

Why use claws??? It has jaws that are way more effective lol

Anteaters sure do some damage, but jaws have shown to be a more effective killing method most of the time.

Eh, not all that. It has jaws it can use more effectively, no point in using its claws primarily.
