deinosuchus is actually only 8-10 m and 2.5 tons. the giant 12 m deino is now called phobosuchus. sarcosuchus is much bigger, in which this would be a mismatch. Link please? As far as I know Phobosuchus is a junior synonym of Deinosuchus, and while the eastern Deinosuchus remains are probably from smaller animals, the ones from Texas and places further west are estimated to be about 40ft long. It's jaw force is probably exceptionally larger than Sarchosuchus' bite, since it was an Alligatoroid, not a slender-snouted Pholidosaurid.

The heads are different thats all I can say, Sarco head just makes it longer. no matter how small deino was, it still had a deadly bite force. Biteforce doesn't matter as much when your opponent has an advantage over you. Biteforce is not even always an important factor.
