Cawthon is definitely in it for the money. Before the fanboys could simply claim he was just good at making these games quickly, but this game right here just proves to me that he is doing this for the money. He's not. If Scott worked on FNaF for money, he'd reach FNaF 1000 and FNaF World 100, and will still keep on (not literally, but you get my point). Someone who makes games for money never stops, or makes an exaggerated amount of games that no one needs and no fan agrees with. This is Scott's last FNaF game, after this installment the FNaF games stop. He's working on it because it's his way of saying goodbye to his beloved series. Plus, he, as far as I know, loves to make RPGs. I'll believe Scott makes FNaF games for money when he starts working on FNaF World 2. I'll eat my words if that happens. Yeah, FNAF 3 and 4 were both supposed to be "goodbye games" as well. In the time period that he made FNAF 1, 2, 3, 4, and FNAF World, Masahiro Sakurai NEARLY completed Super Smash Bros. 4. He pumped out 5 games in the time it takes a real game developer to make 1 game. He is absolutely 100% in it for the money. Deal with it.

No one ever said anything about FNaF 3 being any sort of last game, and FNaF 4 was the last one in the series - FNaF World has nothing to do with it since it's some sort of AU, and it's the real final game and the one that puts an end to FNaF. Scott works fast, and plus, games like FNaF don't need too much work. 5 games? What do you mean? FNaF World is still in early development.

It does, but you need to understand his reason. If he made four games senselessly, then he'd be doing it for money indeed. But FNaF's story can't be told through one or two games; the series needs the four of them to make sense, that's why it's not made for money. The gameplay remains the same because FNaF logic. FNAF's story is that a kid gets turned into a puppet. Hell, many people knew that before FNAF 4 was even announced. Besides gameplay being repetitive makes me dislikes said games even more.
Now I'm gonna go play Undertale, much better game.
That is not even a main point in the story

When you work fast on games it will probably be a glitchy buggy mess that's barely been tested.

Making the same game 4 times sounds pretty money grabbing too me. It does, but you need to understand his reason. If he made four games senselessly, then he'd be doing it for money indeed. But FNaF's story can't be told through one or two games; the series needs the four of them to make sense, that's why it's not made for money. The gameplay remains the same because FNaF logic. Doesn't excuse him making four identical copies of the same game. He could have at least attempted to put some originality into each game, rather than leaving them more and more unfinished each time with the exact same concept throughout. If he wasn't in it for the money he would have just included the entire story in one game as they are all pretty much identical.

Again, the whole FNaF story can't be told through one game, unless it's all minigames - and that wouldn't make sense. Trust me, Scott is anything but doing this for money. If he was, he wouldn't donate, he wouldn't have made the Halloween edition free, all of his demos would cost money, etc. I am actually pretty sure I've seen him post something on Steam about that he didn't like paid DLCs or something like that.

But he made 4 of the exact same games in less then a year and made them all extremely rushed (exept for 3 which was actually quite decent) if fnaf world gets the rushed treatment like the rest of the games, then it will turn out horrible. and that's just the tip of the iceberg on fnaf world.

It could easily be told through one game. I mean you basically play one game in a matter of like 30 minutes, if that. Most games have storylines with over 8 hours of gameplay, and then some extra stuff along the way. Sure he would donate. He's getting millions of dollars from this game. Damn, even if I was a money whoring bastard I would donate some of that stuff, trying to keep my public image somewhat decent.

There have been complaints about the current debating in this thread, with requests for it to be locked or deleted. I am not going to do any of those right now, but I will advise that if none of you want to take part in this, then just don't, it's that simple. The thread is not to be blamed for what happens here; if any violations happen here, action will be taken as necessary.
No violations have occurred, and no action will be taken - but do take my advice if you do not want this to proceed.

Trust me, he probably could have included the entire story more in depth in just one game if he spent more time on it, rather than spreading the entire story into 4 games which progressively become more shallow, most likely for the purpose of gaining more money. The first game was actually pretty original and had potential imo, but after seeing how much attention the game was getting Scott fell into the trap of spewing out lots of sequels which lack artistic license and originality in a short space of time in order to please his fans and earn more money.

Whats even worse than the FNAF fanbase? The FNAF hipsters who just hate on the indie game because its popular and also makes money. Same thing with Minecraft and Call of Duty.

I don't hate fnaf just because it's popular, I hate it because it's poorly made and rushed. Also FYI, I actually like Minecraft.

I don't find the "hipsters" annoying... They're much rarer than the autism ridden majority of the fanbase.
