I know, I just don't believe in evolution, that's why I didn't count that. Because the first amphibians just appeared out of nowhere.

While I do respect his opinion on the matter, I don't really agree with it, evolution is a fact and refusing to believe in something as obvious is being the worst kind of blind. Also, since this is a scientific section, I think we should at least try to speak more scientifically. Also, humans were always the way they are now, despite so much proof.

Hainosaurus is now congeneric with Tylosaurus. I guess that means that it's Tylosaurus bernardi now.

Never stated Gorgosaurus wasn't its own genus; I simply stated that it wasn't known from adult individuals. And that is not the best idea, Gorgosaurus and Albertosaurus were some four million years apart. And yes, Gorgosaurus is widely accepted technically as an albertosaurine, as opposed to tyrannosaurines like Tyrannosaurus rex itself. I don't care if this post is months old, I wanted to reply to it. This is sort of relevant to the topic at hand, I personally hold the belief that Gorgosaurus is a species of Albertosaurus. Just because they are four million years apart does not prove anything. Taxa don't just have a magical time barrier. Some species of known genera are very old. Panthera blytheae, for example, lived about four to five million years ago, and its extant companions are still going... strongish, some are endangered, but they would be doing a lot better without humans. Another example is Canis, where Canis ferox lived about six million years ago. Or even look right at dinosaurs; Coelophysis. The two accepted species are Coelophysis rhodesiensis and type species Coelophysis bauri. They live about four million years apart and on different continents. If Albertosaurus and Gorgosaurus are separate on that basis, so are all of these. Genera are technically subjective to an extant because we can't genetically test dinosaurs to find their position... but we can try our best. Other than age, the differences between Albertosaurus and Gorgosaurus are miniscule, they are pretty much some extremely minor differences in the skull, and that's it.

I did not say they were necessarily separate, either; simply suggested that it is not as likely. Just addressing an old point for reasons unknown, meh.

I literally sit on the stairs for hours arguing with myself over this stuff (yes I have no life). What is wrong with me? You're trying to find a path for your life. And you are going into something that isn't bad at all. Who knows what you might positively change in the future by pursuing this? You'll only know how far you'll go if you pursue it. And you'll know if it's worth pursuing it, if the idea of doing so excites you in any way.

Torosaurus might be an adult Triceratops (I doubt it, Triceratops seems fully grown and Torosaurus isn't really even bigger than Triceratops anyway), but Triceratops was named first. So if any name is dropped, it would be Torosaurus, and Triceratops would stay. But personally I think they are both sticking around.

Well.. pretty much Nanotyrannus, Stygimoloch and Dracorex are all just juvenile animals from how I see it now.
I consider Torosaurus apart from Triceratops, however.
