Dunia:
Interesting facts/landmarks: the planet has a dense field of plasma around it which prevents most asteroids and radiation from reaching the atmosphere of the planet. It is in a parallel dimension to earth and both planets are linked by a special portal. The planet has a very weak gravitational field for its enormous size, due to geographical causes.
Population: unconfirmed population. Life forms that live there are either organisms from earth (which entered Dunia via the portal) or bizarre organisms which are native to the planet.
Size: surface area- 7 billion square miles
Description: One side of the planet is completely covered in water. This water is divided into 4 oceans, each covering different tectonic plates. The oceans are:
The Northern Ocean: this ocean is situated directly on the North pole. It is the coldest ocean on Dunia, due to its latitude. There are various different icebergs in this ocean that are large enough to be considered islands. There are very frequent storms in this ocean and it is has one of the harshest climates. During winter, this ocean completely freezes over. Wind speeds above 400 miles per hour are present above the ocean waves.
The Tropical Ocean: this ocean is situated right in the middle of Dunia, covering the majority of the equator on the particular side of the planet. There are various notable small islands in this ocean, the largest being Dynastia (12,000 squared km). There are tropical storms on this ocean, but they aren't at all frequent, due to the equatorial winds not being very constant. The water in this ocean is clear blue and is perhaps the least harsh ocean geographically due to its very warm climate. Winds rarely approach 100 mph.
The Mediterranean Ocean: this ocean is separated into two parts. The first is sandwiched in between the North and Tropical Oceans, and the second is sandwiched in between the South and Tropical Oceans. There are very few islands in this ocean, and none are really viewable from outer space through the naked eye. The climate is pretty ranged, but is usually pretty warm. Frequent storms occur in this ocean, and are only slightly less powerful than the rare storms on the tropical sea. Winds frequently approach 250 mph.
The Southern Ocean: this ocean is situated right on the South Pole. It is the second coldest ocean on Dunia. There are no islands in this ocean and it is completely covered by water. During winter, this ocean partially freezes over, but not completely. There are very infrequent storms in this ocean, but their power is astonishing. Some wind speeds can reach up to 500 mph.
The other side of the planet is covered in 90% landmass. There are 5 continents:
Alasia: this continent is located in the North Pole, and it is basically a massive iceberg. The climate is extremely cold all year round, and the temperature rarely exceeds -40 degrees Celsius. There are very few animals on this continent, simply due to the climate being so harsh. There are frequent ice storms on the continent, ice chunks falling can be as large as 20 cm in diameter. Waves that hit this continent from the Northern Ocean are capable of being 1/2km high. It borders no other continent, and is the 4th largest continent. The sea in between Alasia and Turanere is the Northern sea.
Turanere: this continent is located at the same latitude as the Northern Mediterranean ocean. The climate is mainly warm and no strong storms occur, and it is a very habitable continent. Many large and thriving animals live here, due to this. The notable landmarks of this continent are: the Turanerese mountain ranges, some mountains are almost 60,000 ft in height, some of the largest on Dunia; the Mediterranean lagoons; the Urasian caves, some of the deepest caves on the planet are as deep as 14 km. The continent borders Euronia, and it is the 3rd largest continent.
Euronia: this continent is located on the equator. The climate is very hot and tropical, and is the perfect habitat for certain animal species. There are rare tropical storms, and most occur in the South-West of the continent. The notable landmarks of this continent are: the Indigo Rainforest, a very large tropical rainforest which contains trees that are unusually coloured; the portal in which organism can travel to earth in the parallel dimension; the Golden Desert; the South-Euronian Shoreline, the sand on the beach is multicoloured after millions of years of sediment overlapping in strange formations. It borders Turanere and Chilan, and it is the largest continent.
Chilan: this continent is at the same latitude as the Southern-Mediterranean Ocean. The climate is warm, and the continent is frequently hit by storms from the Mediterranean Ocean. The continent is habitable, but the population is much less than the other Mediterranean continent. The notable landmarks of this continent are: the Subtropical forest; the Chilanian mountains, the mountain Tybalan is the largest mountain on Dunia (being 85,000 ft in height). It borders Euronia, and it is the smallest continent.
Arasia: this continent is located on the Southern Pole. The climate is cold, but it is less harsh than Alasia and the continent is definitively habitable. The continent is covered in polar forest, and the largest trees are gargantuan at almost 1,000 ft in height. Their extremely excessive growth rate is unknown. It borders no other continent, and it is the 2nd largest continent.
Origin/History: most of the origins of the planet are unknown. It is located in a solar system 3 times the size of our own; it is located in an unknown star system; it is located on the very outer reaches of the Milky Way galaxy.
