It seems on average, our feathered friend is substantially heavier, but if accounts of supposed ~150kg roos are true, it seems parity is possible. In that case, I can possibly see the kangaroo having a bit of an edge due to its tail giving greater stability, possibly more damage in kicking with both legs, and forelimb use (the kangaroo can grab the ostrich with its forelimbs and deliver a more accurate kick).
