(After the Sins separate and capture all the Kaiju and Mecha.)
Lust and he frozen winds had reached Antarctica and began flying at high speeds over the continent, checking every square inch of ice for a sign of the creature she and her team sought. In other parts of the world the other Sins did the same, checking everywhere for even a slight sign of the creature which would give them everything they wanted, and make them gods of their own brand-new universe. Pride would get to be king of everything, Greed and Envy would get all the wealth and objects they desired, Sloth would get to rest and sleep all he wished, Wrath could destroy and rebuild all he wanted, and even Gluttony might get a few planets to feat on for eternity.
But, what would Lust get? She did not wish to be a queen, nor to have any wealth, not rest or food. All she wanted was the one thing that she craved since day one, and the thing that gave her namesake. Even for just a tiny moment, she wanted to feel some kind of warmth and happiness. Something she was deprived of all her life...
(65 Years Earlier in Deep Space)
The newly-born Lust was less than a day old. She had hatched from an egg less than 24 hours earlier, and was small enough to easily be cradled in a human's arms. She lay asleep in the corner of a cold, dark, empty room, and tried to sleep. She was traumatized when she was born, having been immediately probed and poked with needles and sensors by the Vortaak scientists, examining the baby Kaiju and making 100% sure that she was what they had wished for and fit to be their ultimate weapon. She was.
Suddenly, on the other side of the room, a panel opened up in the wall, letting light into her dark, enclosed space. She turned and squinted as she saw the bright light, but eventually, slowly but surely, she got up and headed for the opening. When she passed through, she was in a completely white and empty room, but it was still very cold. Ball-shaped cameras were up in every corner, and a forcefield was over an empty window on the other side of the room. On the other side of the field were the Vortaak scientists working on a control panel, whom she imprinted on from earlier and thought of as her family, being only a baby.
She cocked her head at them and headed over to the forcefield, wagging her tail, trying her best to get their attention and play with them. They looked back at her, but only in confusion at her behavior. She was not supposed to act like this, she was a weapon. They would see how she could fight before they could determine if she was defective.
One of the scientists switched a lever on the control panel in front of them, causing some tiles in the middle of the floor to pull away and an elevator to carry a black creature up into the same room as her. She turned and saw an eyeless, dog-like creature standing in the middle of the floor. It was a creature native to the Vortaak's planet, and it was notorious for being a vicious creature...
The creature looked around the room, likely using some kind of heat-sensing vision instead of it's eyes, and quickly noticed Lust, who was just looking back at it. It snarled at her and faced her, bearing it's blade-like fangs. Lust just stood looking at it with an innocent face, not understanding what it was doing. She finally understood when the black creature jumped at her. Her eyes grew wide as it jumped and she braced for impact as it almost landed on top of her, but it was stopped short by an electric chain around it's neck which kept it tethered to the middle of the floor. Instead, now the creature tugged at it's chain right up next to the terrified Lust, shrieking at her. She whimpered and cowered against the wall, unable to move as she was paralyzed with fear.
The Vortaak scientists simply watched, and couldn't believe her behavior. Was she broken? She was supposed to kill the beast, so why wouldn't she? The alien scientists conversed as the creature continued to shriek at Lust. She could do nothing but cry, being more scared than one could imagine.
Eventually, the scientists decided to put her back in her empty, cold room for three days as punishment. Being a Kaiju, she did not need to eat for extended periods, but for such a young Kaiju it would push her on the brink of madness and pain. She did nothing but tremble in fear and hunger the whole time, nothing to eat or do the entire time but sit and try to conserve energy, and the cold around her only intensified as she shivered.
Eventually, after the three days were up, the scientists repeated the test. The shaken and hungry Black Yang exited her room again and looked around in the cage again. She saw the same dog-like creature sitting in the middle of the room, looking hungry as well, likely from also being rejected food, and it turned to look at her hungrily. As you can imagine, she didn't leave her room that time, not wanting to be attacked again. Instead, she just stood for a few seconds in the light of the doorway, wanting to feel the warmth of the light a little bit longer.
The Vortaak scientists still couldn't believe Black Yang's behavior; this was not what they wanted at all. One of the scientists decided to activate a collar put around Black Yang's neck, which shocked her to encourage her to move into the room. She squeaked in pain as the device let out electrical impulses, but she still refused to enter the room. After a few minutes of shocks, the scientists decided to give her three more days alone in the room before their scrapped her and made a more obedient clone. This time, however, she would be shocked periodically for a few minutes ever few hours to bring out her rage. The whole time she was alone in the room, she did nothing but scape at the door, trying to see the light and feel the warm light again.
After three more days of being locked in the room, the Vortaak scientists were ready to do one last test to see if she would cooperate and be the deadly monster they wanted her to be. In the room, the same creature stood, still unfed and trembling on the floor from hunger. One of the scientists pressed the button to Lust's room, and her door opened. For a moment the scientists didn't see anything come out, but then, slowly, Lust emerged from the room, looking down at the floor. The scientists watched intently as she approached the starving creature lying on the floor, which was too weak to attack her back. She stood over it for a moment without doing anything, then she bared her fangs, and ripped out it's throat.
She was always obedient after that.
Lust shook her head as she tried to forget the old memories of her dark childhood (if it even could be called that), instead going back to the task at hand. She looked over the landscape, but then, in the distance, she saw something in the snow. She landed by the foot of a mountain and saw very large footprints, obviously made by a Kaiju, leading further into the cold dark mountains. She looked in the direction through black snow which fell around her, and quickly, but quietly, took to the sky and followed them into the storm.
