What do you guys think of the subject? Spinosaurus is the largest known carnivorous dinosaur by far, but do you think that something bigger is out there? Deinocheirus remains a mystery. And who knows? Maybe by slim chance we have found only adolescent specimens of Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus? (Fat chance ES)
But it is possible. Is something bigger out there? Could there be a dinosaur that had Diplodicus for breakfast with some Green Tea? Debate Time.
My opinion you ask? (No one is asking you anything)
I find it hard to believe that giants like Supersaurus and Diplodicus even existed because they are so large, so I dont think predatory dinosaurs are going to get much bigger than Spinosaurus. I do believe that there is a predatory dinosaur larger than Spinosaurus ready to be uncovered, but only by gut feeling. No one really knows, and considering Spinosaurus was anywhere between 8-11 tonnes; Its not going to be much bigger.

The largest size a biped can get is 14 tons, Spinosaurus is already 13 tons in weight(which is the correct weight). There is a chance that something would be abit bigger but it is very slim. Spinosaurus couldn't even run it could only fast walk like an elephant. That is how big it is. A dinosaur like T-rex aswell isn't all that fast or agile(it takes 2 second to turn 90 degrees and could run at only 18 mph) and that is only 8 tons compared to a 13 ton behemoth like Spinsaurus. So I highly doubt it.

I do believe that there is a predatory dinosaur larger than Spinosaurus ready to be uncovered, but only by gut feeling. No one really knows, and considering Spinosaurus was anywhere between 8-11 tonnes; Its not going to be much bigger. The Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus remains are probably adult individuals. Why? Because they are already large enough and they seem to be well developed. Young theropod dinosaurs have smaller teeth and a thin body structure, this is my theory. As for the large sauropods, I know that most sauropod hunters lived or at least hunted in packs. If I'm not mistaken, herbivores evolve based on what feeds on them. Some dinosaurs such as sauropods have no armour or tail clubs to defend themselves, so they rely on size. That might explain why some sauropods are so large.

Yeah i do believe in a larger predator than spino and i do believe it could get over 14 tons...but that's just my opinion... I also believe on that possibility, but I think it's very near impossible because 14 tons is the limit of what is possible for a biped, but I think that's something you are tired of knowing... lol

There could be actually. Look at Amphiocelis. I mean sure, we found very few sketches of it or even fossils of it. But according to what we found, it could exist.
Same thing with a mega Carnivore, If it were even bigger then Giga, I would call it: Empariorsaurus Tyrannicus Rex (If it were a Tyrannosaur)

Not even a pack of Allosauruses could take it down (Or pretty bloody difficult to take it down) There must have been some monster out there that could take it down. I mean, look at this size comparison This makes T-rex AND Spino look puny!
There has to be some carnivore at least 10m tall who could take it down! An ULTRA-Carnivore.

The limit to how large a biped can get is much smaller than the limit to how large a sauropod can get, because bipeds only have two legs to support their weight on, while sauropods have 4 massive legs to support their weight on. 14 tons is about the maximum weight for a biped (Spinosaurus weighs this amount) while the maximum weight for a sauropod is about 100 tons.

There has to be some carnivore at least 10m tall who could take it down! An ULTRA-Carnivore. Its size doesn't necessarily mean something had to feed on it, also that's why sauropod-hunters usually hunted in packs. Also 14 tons is the limit of what is possible for a biped, even if it was possible to have a 50-ton bipedal theropod it would be too slow.
