The 80ft Liopleurodon. Even though BBC admitted it was a mistake, people are still out there finding ridiculous ways to try and prove that is really was 80ft. I forgot one of the worst ones I heard, but I'll try and find it later. Also, I saw a theory that Spinosaurus was actually 70ft long. The theory was that we have only found a juvenile skeleton, because the the missing teeth suggested it was still loosing them and growing up. WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL? That was the worst thing I've ever seen in my life. The theory thread (it was on a forum) has since been deleted, but I wish I could show you guys so much. Actually the 25 meter Liopleurodon would be pretty exciting. But yes! You're right! It's probably a mistake!

prepare for the top 10 1. The Stegosaurus with a Brain in its Butt 2. The Dino-Chicken that Ate Washington 3. The Brachiosaurus from Beneath the Sea 4. The Caterpillar that Killed the Dinosaurs 5. The Elasmosaurus with its Head on its Tail 6. Hydrarchos, the Ruler of the Waves 7. The Oviraptor that Kidnapped its Own Eggs 8. The Iguanodon with a Horn on its Snout 9. The Plesiosaur that Lurks in Loch Ness 10. The Hypsilophodon that Lived up a Tree The Iguanodon with a horn on its snout is just an old theory. However when I saw your post I was pretty amazed by one thing. THE OVIRAPTOR THAT KIDNAPPED ITS OWN EGGS??? WHAT THE FUCK!!! WITH THIS LOGIC WHEN MY MOTHER GOT BIRTH TO ME SHE KIDNAPPED ME IN OUR OWN HOUSE!!!

I know something but I wouldn't call it a theory. Maybe I would call it a wrong fact. T-Rex was the largest and most fearsome carnivorous dinosaur. IT DEFINITELY WASN'T!!! The largest one was Spinosaurus and the most fearsome... I'm not sure but Tyrannosaurus was kind of slow moving.

Tyrannosaurus rex was certainly not slow, some studies yielded a speed ~28.9km/h, faster than the average human.

Maybe. Still! It had great potential of losing its balance and I've read that this could be lethal!

If the weight from the foremost part of the torso and further got lower than a certain point, it certainly could fall, although falling would probably not be that common. Ostriches are massive, and even though they're fast runners, they're not that prone to falling.

Ostriches are massive AND TALL! T-Rex was long so maybe it was easy for it to get out of its center of mass.

In compensation to that though, Ostriches get to a sustained speed of up to 50km/h, 1.6 times higher than Tyrannosaurus rex, which at a lower speed of 29.8km/h would be less likely to fall.

I didn't say that T-Rex would fall at a speed of 29,8 km/h. I said that it would fall at a speed of 40 km/h. Anyway I believe that T-Rex was mostly feeding on slow creatures (like ceratopsians).
