I thought it would be cool if other users could introduce other users to new music, and the best way to do this would obviously be to give some information about the artist, and then create a list of the top albums / songs / things about that artist. Everyone is welcome to make their own lists, and I encourage you guys to check out some of the artists other users listen to.
I just quickly whipped up a template too, if you are lazy and / or want to use it go ahead!

Artist Name: Muse Genre: Progressive Rock | Rock | Heavy Metal | Opera Rock Debut Album: Showbiz (1999) Background Information: Muse are an absolutely fantastic band. They are the best thing to happen to music since Kurt Cobain died (apart from Radiohead) Muse are EXTREMELY popular in Europe, and are one of the biggest bands ever over there. They even created the 2012 London Olympic Games Theme Song! (Survival +Prelude) But, apart from being moderately well known in the USA and Australia, they are pretty much not known at all by all other countries on earth. They are very talented, and have a unique sound. The lead singer of the band Matthew Bellamy has one of the best voices in history, and also plays Guitar like a god and Piano like a prodigy. They are so diverse as well, with songs ranging from extreme metal to progressive rock to love songs. They only have 6 albums, but have so many B-Sides that their discography is over 130 songs. So please, if you are into that sort of music I encourage you to give Muse a try. You (hopefully) will not be disappointed.
So, these are my favourite Muse songs of all time. I have included 3 from each album, and also an honourable mention. Also, because of their countless B-Sides, I also added a section for that. Then I have narrowed it down to a top 5, with 5 Honourable Mentions. That top 5 was incredibly hard to make, and the only way to make it reasonable would be to make it a top 15. If you are new to Muse, these are the songs that you should check out for sure:
Showbiz - Muse (1999) 1. Showbiz 2. Muscle Museum 3. Sunburn Honourable Mention: Cave
Origin Of Symmetry - Muse (2001) 1.Citizen Erased 2.Plug In Baby 3.New Born Honourable Mention: Hyper Music
Absolution - Muse (2003) 1.Stockholm Syndrome 2.Hysteria 3.Apocalypse Please Honourable Mention: Falling Away With You
Black Holes & Revelations - Muse (2006) 1.Knights Of Cydonia 2.Map Of The Problematique 3.Supermassive Black Hole Honourable Mention: Take A Bow
The Resistance - Muse (2009) 1.Exogenesis Symphony Parts 1,2 & 3 2.Uprising 3.Unnatural Selection Honourable Mention: MK Ultra
The 2nd Law - Muse (2012) 1.Supremacy 2.Panic Station 3.Animals Honourable Mention: Survival
B-Sides - Muse (1999 - 2013) 1.Fury 2.Dead Star 3.Futurism Honourable Mention: Shrinking Universe There is also a hidden song which is 30 seconds long called You Fucking Motherfucker. It is literally just them bashing out random screeches and screaming fuck into the microphone. Kinda like Nirvana - Endless Nameless. I just had to add it here.
TOP 5 MUSE SONGS OF ALL TIME 1.Citizen Erased 2.Stockholm Syndrome 3.Knights Of Cydonia 4. Plug In Baby 5. Hysteria Honourable Mention 1: Map Of The Problematique Honourable Mention 2: Apocalypse Please Honourable Mention 3: Exogenesis Symphony Parts 1,2 & 3 Honourable Mention 4: Showbiz Honourable Mention 5: New Born

Artist Name: Metallica Genre: Rock | Heavy Metal | Hard Rock | Thrash Metal | Speed Metal Debut Album: Kill Em' All (1983)
I have listened to this legendary band for over 7 years. I have heard every single song from every single album at least 10 times. Literally. I am a huge fan of nearly all genres of rock and metal, so no Metallica songs (save a couple) do I dislike. This, is my complete list of Metallica's best songs, based upon how well written they are, how good the music work in them is and how popular they are. Even though this is my list, you will find it is very unbiased and majority of fans would agree with this. So I present to you, METALLICA'S BEST MUSIC! I have not included the Load, Reload and St Anger albums because of the simple fact that none of the songs on them would have had any chance of making it to the top 5. I respect the albums and admire the music on them. Kill Em' All - Metallica (1983)1. Seek & Destroy2. The Four Horsemen3. Jump In The Fire Honourable Mention: WhiplashRide The Lightning - Metallica (1984)1. Ride The Lightning2. Fade To Black3. Haven't done on of these in a long while. Let's try again, shall we? More lists coming soon, whether you want them or not :')
Artist Name: Radiohead Genre: Alternative Rock | Electronic Rock Debut Album: Pablo Honey (1993)
Radiohead are actually probably one of the most successful bands in history. Maybe not profit wise, but critically. Every album, not including their first two efforts, have been critically acclaimed. Three of their albums are in the top 500 of all time. Radiohead are often cited as inspirations for new bands, because they have expanded their talents into many, many different genres of music. They are still making fantastic music to this day, and if you like Alternative Rock at all I highly recommend them. This band has literally, changed my whole life. Apart from some other specific bands that I love, I can't listen to any other music now but Radiohead. Their music is so expertly created, and layered, that all other music out there feels like its missing something now. Every listen to every song will have you discovering new sounds you didn't realise where there. Radiohead have many different song styles as well as genres. They have rock out songs, chilling songs, songs about issues in the world, and they even have songs that are incredibly heartwrenching and are actually hard to listen to. You can actually feel the emotion the lead singer, Thom Yorke, is expressing through his lyrics. This all sounds so gay and preachy, but it's true. Give them a chance. And so here we go. I've narrowed it down to a top 3 songs from each album, with 2 honourable mentions.
Pablo Honey (1993) In all honesty, this album is very weak and I wouldn't recommend it. Radiohead were finding their roots here, and it just doesn't even compare to their later work. Only 3 songs on the album are worth a listen or two, including their biggest hit worldwide. 1. Creep 2. Blow Out 3. You
The Bends (1995) 1. Street Spirit (Fade Out) 2. Fake Plastic Trees 3. Just Honourable Mention: Planet Telex Honourable Mention: The Bends
OK Computer (1997) (Their best album imo!) 1. Climbing Up The Walls 2. Airbag 3. Let Down Honourable Mention: Paranoid Android Honourable Mention: Karma Police
Kid A (2000) (This whole album is so perfect together. Hardest to pick the top songs from) 1. How To Disappear Completely 2. Idioteque 3. Everything In Its Right Place Honourable Mention: The National Anthem Honourable Mention: Motion Picture Soundtrack
Amnesiac (2001) 1. Pyramid Song 2. I Might Be Wrong 3. Life In A Glass House Honourable Mention: Like Spinning Plates Honourable Mention: You And Whose Army?
Hail To The Thief (2003) 1. There, There 2. A Wolf At The Door 3. 2+2=5 Honourable Mention: Where I End And You Begin Honourable Mention: Backdrifts
In Rainbows (2007) 1. Reckoner 2. 15 Step 3. All I Need Honourable Mention: Nude Honourable Mention: Weird Fishes / Arpeggi
The King Of Limbs (2011) 1. Separator 2. Lotus Flower 3. Bloom (Especially Live) Honourable Mention: Codex Honourable Mention: Give Up The Ghost
B-Sides
1. True Love Waits 2. Talk Show Host 3. Polyethylene (Parts 1&2) Honourable Mention: Last Flowers Honourable Mention: How I Made My Millions
TOP 10 RADIOHEAD SONGS OF ALL TIME 1. How To Disappear Completely 2. Idioteque 3. There, There 4. Reckoner 5. Everything In Its Right Place 6. Climbing Up The Walls 7. 15 Step 8. Airbag 9. Separator 10. Pyramid Song Honourable Mention: Let Down Honourable Mention: All I Need Honourable Mention: True Love Waits
Upcoming Lists: Nine Inch Nails Thom Yorke

Artist Name: Thom Yorke / Atoms For Peace Genre: Alternative Rock | Electronic Rock Debut Album: The Eraser (2005) Background Information: Lead Singer of the band Radiohead, Thom Yorke has released two of his own studio albums. In these albums, he experimented with more electronic style music, drawing influences from IDM. Both albums have received Critical Acclaim. He also collaborated with Flea, Joey Waronker, Neil Godrich and Mauro Refosco to form the band Atoms for Peace, whom with he released the album Amok. This album combined rock and electronic styles into another great album, which has also received great critical acclaim. Overall, Thom Yorke's solo career has been tremendously successful. Your Opinion On The Band: Thom Yorke, in my opinion, is an absolutely amazing musician (as if I didn't make that obvious enough in my last post about Radiohead.) His constant experimentation, while still easily making constantly acclaimed albums just show this so clearly. His solo career has been very good, with fantastic albums to match. Although not as refined and emotional as the songs made by Radiohead, his solo music is still quite awesome and interesting to listen to. His album with Atoms for Peace, however, is incredible. It feels as though it was nurtured during production, and came out as great as a Radiohead album. AfP should feel very happy with that first debut. Clearly, I am extremely biased towards Thom Yorke and his music, so I'll shut up now. Here is the list!
The Eraser - Thom Yorke (2005) 1. Cymbal Rush 2. Analyse 3. Atoms For Peace Honourable Mention: The Eraser
Tomorrows Modern Boxes - Thom Yorke (2014) 1.Nose Grows Some 2.Brain In A Bottle 3.Interference Honourable Mention: Guess Again!
Amok - Atoms For Peace (2013) 1.Amok 2.Ingenue 3.Before Your Very Eyes Honourable Mention: Default
Top 5 Thom Yorke / Atoms For Peace Songs 1.Nose Grows Some 2.Amok 3.Cymbal Rush 4. Brain In A Bottle 5. Analyse Honourable Mention: Ingenue Honourable Mention: Interference

Artist Name: Nine Inch Nails Genre: Alternative Rock / Industrial Metal Debut Album: Pretty Hate Machine Background Information: Nine Inch Nails is a band that officially consists of only one member; Trent Reznor. However, many different musicians have helped Trent compose his albums and play live with him, including Robin Finck, Pino Palladino, and Chris Vrenna. Nine Inch Nails was pretty much the band that popularized Industrial Metal, making the path for bands like Marilyn Manson and Tool (to some extent) to follow. The dark themes and music clips to match have caused some controversy around the band in the past. Trent has been extremely successful in his musical career, often being hailed as one of the most genius musicians in recent memory. His talent can not be denied. With 8 very successful studio albums and hugely popular side projects, Trent has done extremely well with Nine Inch Nails. Your Opinion On The Band: I think Nine Inch Nails is a brilliant band. Personally, I think they are very similar to Radiohead in every way except for the genre. They both write fantastic songs about dark themes, often depressing truths, and use many talents, styles, and techniques in their music. Nine Inch Nails is much more heavy than Radiohead though, and I love it. In my list, I have not included all of their albums. This is simply because the songs on those albums had no chance of making the top 5, unfortunately.
Pretty Hate Machine (1989) 1: Head Like A Hole 2: Terrible Lie 3: Down In It Honourable Mention: Something I Can Never Have
Broken EP (1992) 1: Wish 2: Last 3: Gave Up Honourable Mention: Help Me I Am In Hell
The Downward Spiral (1994) 1: March Of The Pigs 2: Closer 3: Eraser Honourable Mention: Heresy
The Fragile (Sides 1&2) (1999) 1: The Fragile 2: We're In This Together 3: Into The Void Honourable Mention: The Great Below
With Teeth (2005) 1: Right Where It Belongs 2: Only 3: Everyday Is Exactly The Same Honourable Mention: The Hand That Feeds
TOP 5 NIN SONGS OF ALL TIME 1: Head Like A Hole 2: March Of The Pigs 3: Closer 4: Right Where It Belongs 5: Wish Honourable Mention: Eraser Honourable Mention: Only Honourable Mention: Heresy
Lists Coming Soon: Arctic Monkeys Blink-182 Nirvana
