There are to many to make a favourite. But if I had to narrow it down it would be the walking with trilogy(including the specials). The best one(most accurate) is probably either dinosaur revolution or planet dinosaur.

dinosaur train is an american excuse for not teaching it in schools and instead showing little kids dinosaurs who eventually grow out of it and don't take dinosaurs seriously.Seriously you learn nothing alot of the information is outdated and the animation is fucking terrible...not to mention you can tell the voice actors are not using there actual voices fucking ridiculous...thanks alot PBS...PUBLIC BULLSHIT SYSTEM...

Its true, I remember when they use to teach dinosaurs in school when I was in fucking first school(grade/year 1-3). Seriously 1-3? these are some of the most fascinating animals on earth that have a lot of complex shit behind them and you teach them in those years?

My favorite is the Walking With series (including all the specials).
Best is easily Planet Dinosaur.
And with teaching dinosaurs in school, I wish they did that. But in my case, I would probably be able to teach my teacher about dinosaurs, in fact I bet quite a few people on here would be able too.
I find it sad when I tell my friends that Amphicoelias is the longest known dinosaur, but it was lost, and they are like "Man, you know a lot about dinosaurs", but that is really basic knowledge.

Well Amphicoelias is a very obscure dinosaur so that's probably why your class mates don't really know about it

Walking With Dinosaurs is, without a doubt, my favourite documentary. I remember watching it for the first time in 1999, soon after its release. Fantastic.
About schooling, it's sad that dinosaurs are only mentioned in our first years, and in extremely poor ways. It really bothers me that this contributes so much to people associating dinosaurs with children, it makes a comfortable learning about them much harder. If both biology and history are considered important, why doesn't paleontology get some attention as well?

Dinosaurs are often thought of as very old school by most, which is ridiculous because the whole area of science is based on new discoveries and the unknown. This is probably why it is taught in the early years because it is considered to be a basic topic where all knowledge of it has been laid out, 'no need to waste their time with it in later years as it will only be covering basic knowledge from when they were little kids'. Its saddening indeed.

Its saddening indeed. Pretty much this. What annoys me the most however is that they're seen as "stuff for the kids", while biology is considered. Paleontology is basically biology and history combined, so why can't we have that in schools?
