Probably because paleontology is not very favoured in Australia, just like in Brazil. But I am not very sure of that so anyone can call this statement utter bullshit, I am not sure of how favoured paleontology is in Australia.

Well asia and north america really take the spot light(Especially the USA and China) for most of palaeontology while the rest get very little. North Africa, Southern South america and Europe take most of what's left of the fame and Australia and Antarctica really get no attention at all.

Europe isn't particularly popular in terms of dinosaurs. North Africa and South America definitely get more recognition. Dinosaurs from Western Europe (especially Britain and France) get a lot of recognition, but the rest of Europe isn't particularly well known in terms of dinosaurs.

Well places like Portugal get some attention with their Jurassic bone beds and places in Spain, Britain and France get some attention so I would say they get a significant enough amount of attention when compared to southern south america and North Africa

Also the reason I said southern south america and north africa is because those areas get all the attention on the continent. Places like south africa, nigeria and other countries get no attention when it comes to dinosaurs and places like chilli and other northern south american countries get no attention as well.

antarctica has a very little amount of dinosaurs. the only dinosaurs i know that lived in antartica were cryolophosaurus, antarctopelta, glacialisaurus and two of those new sauropodomorphs from the SVP. although i'm pretty sure that all of us know cryolophosaurus, it by far has the most attention out of any antartic dinosaur.

This dinosaur probably needs attention(I think?): Its name is Erectopus, allosauroid therapod from the Lower Cretaceous of France. Its name comes from the Latin word erectus which means upright and the Greek word pous which means foot.
