^i agree with this. I would compare increasing frame rate to blitzing through a fast piece/passage of music with little consideration to how well/even notes are coming out. I would say it is best to practice the techniques at a very slow frame rate and see how smooth you can get it and then increase the frame rate to an adequate speed for the flow of the animation.

Great example, and yes using a low frame rate at first to practice movements is a great tactic. Try 8fps for practicing. It will eventually make your eye keener to detail and increase your quality control.
