You have to admit, it was quite fun despite having one of the crappiest most cliched plots in cinema history Ehhh I found it just really crappy and hard to sit through due to how much it butchers the franchise. At least I could appreciate Alien 3 for actually TRYING. The nostalgia critic's review was way more fun for Alien Ressurection. It certainly doesn't round off the franchise in a convincing way at all, it feels more like a completely different story which could be expanded on given enough time, but a lot of work would have to be done to try and muster a decent sequel from the shitstorm of Alien Ressurection

Can't really ADD to the franchise so going back to its origin story is the only possible solution aside from making spin offs.

It was a completely different story. Disappointingly, it was also extremely rushed. Shame.

Well it wasn't a prequel but just an origin story of mankind's first encounter with the Alien virus creature and its creation.

I actually rather enjoyed Prometheus, but it felt very different to the original films and wasn't as well made. But I suppose it may of not of been the intention to imitate the same style as the original franchise

I like a lot of Liam Neeson's classic films from 1990s

The first land before time was really good. Loved it as a kid and its still an animated marvel to this day. The sequels though...
Land before time answered the question when can you put out to many sequels for a dinosaur movie. Its when you start using obscure dinosaurs in your movies when you have already used all of the popular or slightly known ones.

I just saw Stephen Hawking: The theory of everything, freaking amazing film, and has just the right balance of the emotional side of Stephen Hawking's arduous life and his huge success in the scientific community.

*laughs* Doomed to the eternal fires of hell. I remember watching the Land before Time films constantly when I was younger, but they were rented dvds so I can't visit any nostalgia at the moment.
