Some newer users may not know what this is about, but it'll be explained below as I go. This forum has recently turned one year old, and I need to do this.
I've been reading through older messages and posts, and I've noticed that the earlier days of this forum were far superior to the current day. Of course, this was already obvious to me and many others, but I've just noticed how I felt at home with this great community before the events that caused so much of the unwanted to happen. As some of you can see, many of my old posts are childish and unnecessary, and the sad part is that there are a lot of them. This was because I was carried away, of course, but still, I admit my fault for them. That's not what this is about, though. My childish posts were offensive and/or annoying at times, sure, but they didn't seem to really have such a bad impact on the community as other acts have had. I've commenced several arguments over small things, and through them I have offended many people who from then on, would not feel so much at home as they used to. I started doing several consecutive errors, and they started getting worse. Even worse than the arguments started by myself where I tried to convince people that their opinions were wrong, but errors that I feel I do not even need to mention. I drove many people away from me. This can sound uncalled for, for some of you, but it's really important for me, because I'm writing this to the tens of people I've spent many good times with. The roleplaying section, the debating sections, the fun section. Everything was incredible, and even more considering our rules were rarely broken. In the few occasions they were not followed, the situation did not warrant any kind of warning, let alone a ban. This is the kind of community I believe every forum owner dreams to have in their site, and that includes me. Unfortunately, I did not treat this kind of community the way it deserved, and that is why I feel like I needed to apologise.
Not only will I apologise, but I'll also unban all banned users and rid you of all warnings previously given. It's the right time for a new start, and before this can happen, I believe I should, at the very least, have apologised to those who were, in some way, affected by my actions. I have been, for months, trying to change my attitude to that of a more respectable forum owner, and all I ask is that whenever someone on here, including yours truly, acts in a way that does not really please you, please tell them what you dislike about their attitude - that way, we can easily keep a community free from more unnecessary arguments like those that have happened in the past.
Thank you for your time, I wish all the best to all of you.
