Artist Name: Radiohead Genre: Alternative Rock | Electronic Rock Debut Album: Pablo Honey (1993)
Radiohead are actually probably one of the most successful bands in history. Maybe not profit wise, but critically. Every album, not including their first two efforts, have been critically acclaimed. Three of their albums are in the top 500 of all time. Radiohead are often cited as inspirations for new bands, because they have expanded their talents into many, many different genres of music. They are still making fantastic music to this day, and if you like Alternative Rock at all I highly recommend them. This band has literally, changed my whole life. Apart from some other specific bands that I love, I can't listen to any other music now but Radiohead. Their music is so expertly created, and layered, that all other music out there feels like its missing something now. Every listen to every song will have you discovering new sounds you didn't realise where there. Radiohead have many different song styles as well as genres. They have rock out songs, chilling songs, songs about issues in the world, and they even have songs that are incredibly heartwrenching and are actually hard to listen to. You can actually feel the emotion the lead singer, Thom Yorke, is expressing through his lyrics. This all sounds so gay and preachy, but it's true. Give them a chance. And so here we go. I've narrowed it down to a top 3 songs from each album, with 2 honourable mentions.
Radiohead released their new album today. Sometimes, words cannot describe; this is one of those times. They've done it again, bringing out another perfect album which is impossible to rank, seeing as how they have another 3 albums that are all 10/10's. This is a vastly superior list to my previous edits, revised for today's release. I feel this list may change a bit in the coming months as the dust settles, and my rankings of the songs off of AMSP fall into place properly.
Pablo Honey (1993) In all honesty, this album is very weak and I wouldn't recommend it. Radiohead were finding their roots here, and it just doesn't even compare to their later work. Only 3 songs on the album are worth a listen or two, including their biggest hit worldwide. 1. Creep 2. Blow Out 3. You
The Bends (1995) 1. Street Spirit (Fade Out) 2. Fake Plastic Trees 3. Just Honourable Mention: Planet Telex Honourable Mention: The Bends
OK Computer (1997) 1. Climbing Up The Walls 2. Airbag 3. Paranoid Android Honourable Mention: Let Down Honourable Mention: Exit Music (For A Film)
Kid A (2000) 1. How To Disappear Completely 2. Idioteque 3. Everything In Its Right Place Honourable Mention: The National Anthem Honourable Mention: Motion Picture Soundtrack
Amnesiac (2001) 1. Pyramid Song 2. I Might Be Wrong 3. Life In A Glass House Honourable Mention: Like Spinning Plates Honourable Mention: You And Whose Army?
Hail To The Thief (2003) 1. There, There 2. A Wolf At The Door 3. 2+2=5 Honourable Mention: Where I End And You Begin Honourable Mention: The Gloaming
In Rainbows (2007) 1. Reckoner 2. 15 Step 3. Nude Honourable Mention: All I Need Honourable Mention: Weird Fishes / Arpeggi
The King Of Limbs (2011) 1. Separator 2. Lotus Flower 3. Bloom (Especially Live) Honourable Mention: Codex Honourable Mention: Give Up The Ghost
A Moon-Shaped Pool (2016) 1. True Love Waits 2. Ful Stop 3. The Numbers Honourable Mention: Burn The Witch Honourable Mention: Identikit
B-Sides 1. Talk Show Host 2. Spectre 3. Last Flowers Honourable Mention: Polyethylene (Parts 1&2) Honourable Mention: How I Made My Millions
TOP 10 RADIOHEAD SONGS OF ALL TIME 1. How To Disappear Completely 2. Idioteque 3. Climbing Up The Walls 4. Reckoner 5. Everything In Its Right Place 6. There, There 7. 15 Step 8. Airbag 9. Pyramid Song 10. True Love Waits Honourable Mention: Paranoid Android Honourable Mention: Nude Honourable Mention: Separator

Artist Name: Muse Genre: Progressive Rock | Rock | Heavy Metal | Opera Rock Debut Album: Showbiz (1999) Background Information: Muse are an absolutely fantastic band. They are the best thing to happen to music since Kurt Cobain died (apart from Radiohead) Muse are EXTREMELY popular in Europe, and are one of the biggest bands ever over there. They even created the 2012 London Olympic Games Theme Song! (Survival +Prelude) But, apart from being moderately well known in the USA and Australia, they are pretty much not known at all by all other countries on earth. They are very talented, and have a unique sound. The lead singer of the band Matthew Bellamy has one of the best voices in history, and also plays Guitar like a god and Piano like a prodigy. They are so diverse as well, with songs ranging from extreme metal to progressive rock to love songs. They only have 6 albums, but have so many B-Sides that their discography is over 130 songs. So please, if you are into that sort of music I encourage you to give Muse a try. You (hopefully) will not be disappointed.
This is my revised list for Muse. It is very similar to my previous one, because unlike other bands (Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Royal Blood) there are clear standout tracks in Muse albums. However, since late 2013 they have released a new album named Drones (June 2015) and I think it's about time I reviewed it.
Showbiz - Muse (1999) 1. Showbiz 2. Muscle Museum 3. Sunburn Honourable Mention: Cave
Origin Of Symmetry - Muse (2001) 1.Citizen Erased 2.New Born 3.Plug In Baby Honourable Mention: Megalomania
Absolution - Muse (2003) 1.Stockholm Syndrome 2.Hysteria 3.Apocalypse Please Honourable Mention: Falling Away With You
Black Holes & Revelations - Muse (2006) 1.Knights Of Cydonia 2.Map Of The Problematique 3.Supermassive Black Hole Honourable Mention: Take A Bow
The Resistance - Muse (2009) 1.Exogenesis Symphony Parts 1,2 & 3 2.Uprising 3.Unnatural Selection Honourable Mention: MK Ultra
The 2nd Law - Muse (2012) 1.Supremacy 2.Panic Station 3.Animals Honourable Mention: Survival
Drones - Muse (2015) 1. Reapers 2. The Handler 3. Psycho (+Drill Sergeant) Honourable Mention: The Globalist
B-Sides - Muse (1999 - 2013) 1.Fury 2.Dead Star 3.Futurism Honourable Mention: In Your World
TOP 10 MUSE SONGS OF ALL TIME 1.Citizen Erased 2.Stockholm Syndrome 3.Reapers 4.Knights Of Cydonia 5.New Born 6.Hysteria 7.The Handler 8.Map Of The Problematique 9.Showbiz 10.Falling Away With You Honourable Mention: Plug In Baby Honourable Mention: Fury Honourable Mention: Apocalypse Please

Guess I'm gonna be the first to not mention metal or rock or stuff like that. You know, I'm expanding my music taste. Thing is, I was open to anything that sounded good to me when I was young, but right now I look at lyrical and audio quality and genre doesn't matter. Just hit me up with some dope lyrics. This is going to be predictable.
Artist Name: Eminem Genre: Rap Debut Album: Infinite (1996) Background Information: Want me to put this shortly? Eminem changed Rap and the way it was seen. Before he became popular, Rap was considered exclusive for black people. He's not just a rapper, he's pretty much a teacher - he tells the truth and he's a living example of how tough life can be, but that if you're going through anything in your life, you can overcome it. Well, you may think, "but you can say that about so many artists!", well, not in the same way, no. Eminem's life story and the way he has expressed it through music shows you the truth. During the 90s, he was completely broke. His daughter, Hailie Jade, born December 25, 1995, was about to have her first birthday and he had only 40 dollars. He couldn't get her anything for that Christmas. He was trying to get into music, but it was tough and he would keep getting hired and fired the same day. He expressed those things on several songs: Rock Bottom (1999); "Minimum wage got my adrenaline caged, full of venom and rage, especially when I'm engaged, and my daughter's down to her last diaper, that's got my ass hyper. I pray that god answers, maybe I'll ask nicer". When you listen to the song, you can feel the emotion in this. You can imagine yourself in such a situation. You can really feel how much suffering that is. Having 40 dollars to get your daughter something for her birthday, on Christmas. That reminds me of Mockingbird (2004):
"I remember back one year when daddy had no money Mommy wrapped the Christmas presents up And stuck 'em under the tree and said some of 'em were from me 'Cause daddy couldn't buy 'em I'll never forget that Christmas I sat up the whole night crying 'Cause daddy felt like a bum, see daddy had a job But his job was to keep the food on the table for you and mom And at the time every house that we lived in Either kept getting broken into and robbed Or shot up on the block and your mom was saving money for you in a jar Tryna start a piggy bank for you so you could go to college Almost had a thousand dollars 'til someone broke in and stole it And I know it hurt so bad it broke your mamma's heart And it seemed like everything was just startin' to fall apart"
When you listen to the song, you realize how genuine it is. Wanting to give your daughter the life you never had, but not being able to. It's clearly a devastating feeling. The song hits you hard when you listen to it. And then there's also Lose Yourself (2002), which describes his life. Knowing his life story, if you had, one shot, or one opportunity... To seize everything you ever wanted, in one moment. Would you capture it, or just let it slip?
Opinion On The Artist: The best rapper the world has ever seen. Tupac Shakur was great too, but in my opinion, Eminem is better. Shakur had great lyrics, great flow, but Eminem has everything a good Rap song needs. Flow, rhymes, lyrics... He can tell you a story while rhyming in a way you would find impossible. He can rap 97 words in 15 seconds (Rap God, 2013). He can make iconic, historic comedic songs like The Real Slim Shady (2000), emotional masterpieces like Mockingbird (2004), When I'm Gone (2005), and the legendary Lose Yourself (2002). He has a song for every mood you can possibly be in.
And now, the classic list. The one with the albums and the best songs from each album, in my opinion. Hard to choose though, I like songs from albums on a similar level.
Infinite (1996) 1. Infinite 2. 313 3. Jealousy Woes II 4. Tonite 5. It's OK
The Slim Shady EP (1997) 1. Just Don't Give A Fuck 2. If I Had... 3. Low Down, Dirty 4. Murder, Murder 5. No One's Iller
The Slim Shady LP (1999) 1. Role Model 2. Rock Bottom 3. Guilty Conscience 4. Still Don't Give A Fuck 5. I'm Shady
The Marshall Mathers LP (2000) 1. The Real Slim Shady 2. The Way I Am 3. Stan 4. I'm Back 5. Kim
The Eminem Show (2002) 1. Hailie's Song 2. Sing For The Moment 3. My Dad's Gone Crazy 4. Superman 5. White America
Encore (2004) 1. Mockingbird 2. Like Toy Soldiers 3. Mosh 4. Ass Like That 5. Just Lose It
Relapse (2009) 1. Beautiful 2. Deja Vu 3. Crack A Bottle 4. We Made You 5. 3 a.m.
Recovery (2010) 1. Not Afraid/Going Through Changes 2. Going Through Changes/Not Afraid 3. Space Bound 4. 25 To Life 5. On Fire
The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (2013) 1. Rap God 2. Berzerk 3. Survival 4. Stronger Than I Was 5. The Monster
Infinite Just Don't Give A Fuck Role Model The Real Slim Shady Hailie's Song Mockingbird Beautiful Not Afraid Going Through Changes Rap God
Favourite Albums
This list is not accurate at all. I just can't order it in any way I find correct. I love all the albums so much, it sucks to see there is one of them in the last place. But here's the list I came up with.
1. The Eminem Show/Encore 2. The Slim Shady LP/The Marshall Mathers LP 3. Recovery 4. The Slim Shady EP 5. Relapse 6. The Marshall Mathers LP 2 7. Infinite
Favourite Songs Overall
This one is the hardest list ever. Pretty much impossible to do, but here goes my try. This list might change too.
1. Hailie's Song 2. Going Through Changes 3. Lose Yourself 4. Infinite 5. Sing For The Moment 6. Not Afraid 7. When I'm Gone/Mockingbird 8. Mockingbird/When I'm Gone 9. Role Model 10. Beautiful
Long story short: listen to Eminem. Like Rap? Do it. Dislike Rap? DO IT. You won't regret getting into Eminem. If you don't like Rap, you'll like it from now on.
