(New Storyline!)
It has been about a year since the events between Barlog and his mate Aniyah have happened. Dust has settled in with Poseidon well, and the other Carcharodontosaurus have left their territory. Dust occasionally hears him growling in sleep, but nothing has seemed to go wrong.... Until now....

The temperature was, as usual, fairly elevated; but over the past 40 minutes, it has dropped by a few degrees. The sky seems to slowly become more filled with clouds, which get darker and darker as the time passes. Poseidon was still sleeping, when after a while the first lightning can be heard - but not seen, announcing the upcoming storm. It doesn't take too long for another one, louder, to be heard, and a bit of rain to start dropping from the sky. Poseidon wakes up, releasing a deep yawn. He looks to the sky, aware of what might be coming, seeing as many remarkable storms that punished this region of Africa started out like this. A lazy wind current has the rain falling in a degree hardly far from the usual, which isn't anything to worry about. Poseidon goes to get a drink from a nearby, well-sized creek. As he drinks from the calm body of water, his eyes are static, focusing on the calm waters being impacted by the slowly, gradually enlarged droplets. The clouds are, every now and then, lit by lightning, heard from the surface of the good-sized enclave held by the two large predators.

The clouds are, every now and then, lit by lightning, heard from the surface of the good-sized enclave held by the two large predators. As the thunderstorm rages on, Dust sniffs the air, and suddenly snarls, alerting Poseidon. She stands up, and starts to act weird. Constantly growling and sniffing, she finally looks at Poseidon with an old look. Pupils silted, slight saliva drooled and lots of pawing at the ground. Dust snarls as if a warning. The Deltadromeus, who has gotten a bit bigger since then, growls at Dust in confusion. Saliva starts to drip on its head, when out of the blue, Dust makes an absurdly loud predatory roar. The small carnosaur begins to flee, but Dust grabs it by the tail with her jaws. It starts to yelp with cowardice, and Dust pulls it back into a shadowy spot near their den. (Dust and Poseidon's den) A screech is heard along with the sound of a loud crunch and splatters. Dust drags the tiny Deltadromeus out, who has its intestines ripped out of their 'sockets'. Dust's pupils turn back to normal, but still keeps that strange behavior. (Couldn't help getting a bit violent) Dust stops eating, and walks over to a nearby lake to clean off her muzzle. Dust goes back to sit down, and waits for Poseidon to do something else.

The storm is what catches Poseidon's attention the most. Despite its destructive nature, the storm is what makes Poseidon feel alive. It's what Poseidon is made of: fury, strength, and the fact it can't be stopped. The wind goes from a lazy to a violent state, and many trees are prone to falling. The rain has suddenly become very violent; the thousands of droplets falling at once crate a small layer of water particles around the surface. The skies are very dark, and lightning strikes can be seen often in varied distances. The winds speed is considerably high, and not every creature can withstand. The small creek quickly starts to flood, and has grown considerably in the meantime.

Primus is alone at the moment, the storm is a gift from the skies, Primus haven't drank anything since his last hunt but now the creek is filled with water and he can quench his thirs, but two larger predator are nearby, two spinosauruses. He tries to not gets their attention, he will problaly not since both got attention of each other, and one of then doesnt represent danger, looks like it just had it´s dinner. Primus waits to be sure and drink from the lake. He notcies that the lake is growing, growing too fast, even thought he is not and mature Rugops yet, he knows what that means, he must run, but the creek is flooding really fast. The two spinosauruses realize that too...

The rain is exceeding even the most excessive rates imaginable. The water droplets falling from the sky aren't no longer a gift, but more like a punishment. The dark clouds cover a colossal part of this region, and only get darker. The winds have attained shocking speeds, ripping trees off the ground and forcing many creatures to hide. It hasn't been too long since it started raining, and the body of water that was previously a well-sized creek has turned into an immense watercourse, and along with it, large tree trunks are carried away. Dust hides in her den, but Poseidon stays outside, with his eyes focused on the pure magnificence of Africa's deadliest killer of all. The lightning strikes originated from the clouds awaken a deep fascination in Poseidon, who silently observes the source, the inspiration of his current self.

As coward pygmy sized Rugops and Deltadromeus flee, Poseidon watches the storm raging. Dust watches the strong storm with an sharp eye, looking out for lightning flashes. As her mate pays attention to the disastrous beauty, she notices the color of the sky becoming slightly green. Snarling with slight worry and more threats, the beauty soon turns into a nightmare. By one quick call to the slightly smaller male, the slight quietness of the riverbank instantly becomes a festival of terrified creatures, shrieking and fleeing for their lives. A tornado, without warning has touched down. With the loudest roar she can produce, she finally catches Poseidon's attention, ready to cover up with the most shelter they can get.

Primus runs faster as he can, he suddenly sneezes for some reason. He goes for the exit of the creek, however, the lightings and thunders appear and a lighting hits a big rock that bars Primus passage. Their brothers nothing can do to help him, even if he could call then, the thunders make tremendous noises that sacres all animals in the area, except Poseidon, that still admirating the destructive power of the storm. The rugops must leave this place and search for a shelter like a cave, however there is no cave close, he must go back and problaly face the spinosauruses and some crocodiles hidden on the water, as the water becomes higher, they represent a larger threat.

(New Storyline!)
Gash could feel the hot sun blazing down onto his skin. He was almost panting, just trying to cool down even a little bit. But the hot sun of the desert was unforgiving. All the eye could see was sand upon sand. Sometimes sand would be picked up by wind and placed somewhere else, most likely on more sand. That was a fairly interesting event for this desert. Gash reached the top of a huge sand dune, and looked down. He heaved a huge sigh of relief. Down in the bottom of a large valley between two mountainous sand dunes was a small river, that had running water (somehow?!) "Finally," Gash mumbled so weakly he was almost incoherent, "a river..." He almost fainted using the energy to say those words, so instead he thought; 'I can follow this river out of this desert, surely it will lead to a forest or grassland or something!' He literally slumped onto the floor and slid down the sand dune, right down to the bank of the river. He stood up, shaking sand from underneath his scales, and dived straight in. He drank as he swam, and was cooling down very quickly while doing so. After some time he exited the river. He was now cool, and quenched. Now he could follow the river out of the desert. He began walking...

He drank as he swam, and was cooling down very quickly while doing so. After some time he exited the river. He was now cool, and quenched. Now he could follow the river out of the desert. He began walking... A few kilometres from there, Gash would notice the transition from the desert to the greener lands. His several kilometre journey was soon to end, with him starting a new life away from the place he had come from. The titan carrying his heavy body across the land scared smaller herbivores away, while Gash simply ignored them. His feet sunk slightly into the soft soil near the river, as the low green plants in the ground started covering the disappearing light coloured sand. He finally reached the place he was looking for. An open land, with a river to the left, and half surrounded by trees to Gash's north, with a desert's dunes only to be seen behind him was the new land that seemed to welcome him. A large mountain in the distance seemed to have a greenish-blue colouration due to the distance, and white clouds were scattered around the sky. Ajax laid down somewhere hidden in that paisage, his sharp teeth covered in blood, resting lazily under the trees.

Gash noticed that the mountain looked quite nice, but he decided not to set up his new territory there because he was never fond of high places. He decided he would set up a home in the forest next to the river, right underneath the gigantic peak. This way, he could access the fresh water running down from the mountain, and also potentially make a small resting area somewhere at the base of the mountain. He slowly wandered into the lush forest, following the river. The forest floor was very clean, with minimal leaves and sticks. It was mainly dirt. Shrubbery and small ferns sprouted everywhere, though. The trees were fairly tall, and branched out dramatically. Thick vines dangled off of the branches. The harsh sunlight did not penetrate the foliage enough to be a disturbance, but kept the forest warm enough all year for it to be a very comfortable home. The river was very nice, with fresh clear water that showed the large rocks at the bottom. Gash estimated it to be around 4 metres deep at some of the lowest points, which made it a perfect place for all dinosaurs to cool off in. This would be a great way to ambush prey. Gash finally made it through to the back of the forest, and found a small area that was carved into the side of the mountain. This area was still in the forest though. He started collecting foliage to place at the base of the small cave, and soon covered the floor. It was now quite comfortable to rest on. He then gathered the little ammount of logs and sticks he could find, and built a small perimeter around his new resting place. He also hung some vines off of the roof of the cave. These things were done to make him less visible. Gash was happy with his new home, and immediately went out hunting. But something was odd. He could not smell any close prey, because another scent was filling the air around this area. Gash became mad very quickly when he realised the scent was from another Sauroniops...

Ajax was still laying down, but he noticed the presence of another Sauroniops in his territory. He stood up, trying to find where the scent comes from. It comes from his left. He quietly observes that side from a distance, looking through the foliage. He is very experienced in this place, since he has been living here for years, so he can see through the thick foliage without much trouble. He sees Gash from where he currently is, but doesn't see him too clearly. He slowly heads to that direction, observing Gash more properly. He will have to take action, seeing as Gash is very clearly going to claim this territory. Observing Gash from around 60 metres, Ajax stands still, keeping his eyes on the intruder. His jaws soon start opening themselves slowly, exposing his extremely sharp teeth.

A short distance from the current events, Ausar is resting contently by a clearing in the dense thicket of his current territory. Next to him lies the corpse of a young Spinosaurus whom he killed in order to take over the forest territory. He stares up at the sunset in awe, but finds no beauty in its vibrant colours/patterns. He lowers his head again, only to find a young Paralititan grazing gently in the grass some 100 metres away. Ausar grimaces, he is now ready for more prey to savagely kill.
Meanwhile, Alan is walking cluelessy around in the area of Gash's new territory, but his scent is unrecognisable for the Sauroniops so he remains unnoticed for now. He has just escaped a sauropod stampede, and is looking for a place to recover his energy. He finds a gently flowing stream, and heads over towads it, just before he catches a glimpse of another predator standing off in the distance. He immediately takes cover behind some dense overgrwoth, trembling and panicking. He had no idea there was other competition here

Alan stares at Ajax, who is apparently unaware of him. However, Ajax slowly turns to Alan; he had already been spotted before. Ajax stares at Alan's eyes, challengingly. Opening his jaws, the brutal lonesome predator seems to represent a real threat, but Alan doesn't leave, in shock. Ajax's tail moves lazily, a sign of aggression. The sun is starting to hide behind the mountains, and the orangeish sky starts getting darker, the horizon being still a lighter blue. During this time of the day, Ajax is usually more active, more fierceful, more unforgiving. It's finally the dark dusk of North Africa...

(Epic song!)
The growling made by Alan and Ajax had alerted Gash to their presence. Whilst they were jousting, Gash quietly retreated into some cover, as to not be seen. With a very small line of sight, he sized up his opponents. Although it was hard to tell from such distance and the little ammount of visibility, Gash estimated that both of these dinosaurs were around his size. However, it was clear they were hostile to each other, so it would not be a 1v2 if Gash were to attack. Gash decided to play it passive for now, and backed off further into the deep foliage.
'Unbelievable!' Gash thought angrily, 'the one place I pick has already been seized! By not just one, but two other dinosaurs! If I am to reclaim this territory I will have to fight at least once...' With this thought, Gash did not move but started to position himself into more of an offensive position. He would remain hidden in the dark, and wait until the other two dinosaurs began fighting before leaping out. It was a good plan, if executed and timed correctly.
The low ammount of light started to get even lower. Night had set in. The cold wind started blowing through the dead silent forest, as a fight began...
