My favourite film of all time is obviously Jurassic Park but the BEST film I have watched is the shawshank redemption. Easily the best film ever. I will probably make a list of the best films of the year I've seen I watched around 1/4 of the Shawshank redemption when I was like 10, but I didn't really get it. I will definitely watch it again sometime.

My favourite film of 2014
Out of all the ones I have seen so far Dawn of the planet of the apes trumps them all. I need to see interstellar, the theory of everything, whiplash and X-man days of the future past as well though before I can make an absolute judgement as I heard they were spectacular. This year will be fucking awesome for moviesT. Star Wars, Jurassic park, James Bond, Avengers, Terminator, Antman and an absolute fuck tonne of animated movies will make 2015 a blast. Hopefully it will not lead to an onslaught of disappointments like 2014 for video games.

Interstellar was almost an absolute masterpiece, close to the same league Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A space odyssey, which imo will never be topped. The only problem I had with the film was that it was a bit sentimental, all the cliched backstories about the daughter/family. But I suppose it is Hollywood.

I got that film on DVD for Christmas, its amazingly well done, especially for a film that is mostly CGI. 2015 better be as good a year as 2014 in terms of films.

It will be one of the biggest if not THE biggest year in movie history as so many franchises that have made billions of dollars compete for profit.
