I'll make more animations soon, such as walk and run cycles. For now I only have this:Carcharodontosaurus test (blink and roar). What do you think?

Very amazing, love the blinking as well. Try to add some more easing, you seem to already have a good understanding of it.

This is the beggining of a fight I'm currently making. Also, Theropod, let me tell you that I literally fell in love with this epic stk!

Hainosaurus is now congeneric with Tylosaurus. I guess that means that it's Tylosaurus bernardi now.

I love the way how the dinosaurs vibrate when they roar! (most beginners usually dont make the dinosaurs vibrate when roaring, causing the dinosaur to look purely idle, especially without sound (I normally do not use sound for my animations, and if you don't there is a very huge difference between the two roars.)) For everything else, the easing is very nice, i dont see any shakiness, this is awesome! High Beginner!

Ooops, didn't post here before. Sorry, didn't see the thread thanks to that issue I had last year. Your understanding of movement is very good, it looks like they actually have some mass and their movements are quite powerful, while still keeping a great fluid movement. The tongue also has a very nice movement! The tongue could've used some easing, but the way the movements are done is very skillful. I would say Low Intermediate or so, maybe a bit higher or lower, shouldn't be too far off. This might not be your exact rank given those are short, but for that last animation, I'd say Low Intermediate is more or less spot on.

Backie backie with more stuffie! No, I never stopped animating. What did you think? I've been practicing and animating tests whenever I got bored. Writing has been kind of my main priority this summer, so I didn't have much time to animate.
Four-legged walk test
Breathing test
Limp test (not too proud of this one)

Also a preview of my most recent fight. :3 I'm pretty proud of this one, tbh.

Massive improvement, I love the four-legged animation. Imo the only problem in it is that you skip to the first frame a bit abruptly. Add one more frame to the end and there you go. You have an interesting flow going on these, even though it could be exploited a little more. Some joints are a bit stiff here and there even though you clearly moved most of them, you are going the right way. The Velociraptor has a quite stiff tail, but it still moves, you're going great. I think the tail could wave a bit, but of course there are more ways you can flow. Don't push yourself too much though, just practice what you're doing and you'll do great, you already animate very well. I like the pace you use in your animations. You add more sudden movements in an interesting way. I like that you actually pay attention to more minor details, like the Velociraptor's jaw opening a little bit with the momentum coming from the neck, it's a more advanced thing. Another example of this is how the legs move as the torso also moves, you developed a solid flow. There is a little shakiness here and there, a few movements that are a bit off acceleration-wise, but they're minor. You already know what you are doing, just keep practicing and you'll just keep improving. This is Low-Intermediate content. Some may argue you're not Intermediate yet, but I can easily say you are. A little more practice can get you a solid Intermediate status, I think posting one more animation would get you there. I would move your thread to Intermediates, but I wanna see some more opinions. I'd like to see themechabaryonyx789's insight as well.

^ will reply to this more in depth tomorrow after school as I'm a bit shattered at the moment and probably not the best critical thinker. However at a first glance I would easily say you are approaching the intermediate rank- I will make some proper comments about the individual aspects of the animation soon

Awesome work Piko!! You're animations have a great sense of flow and smoothness, but with subtle use of easing which overall gives off a very realistic effect. This seems to be a pretty unique aspect of your animations which I would love to see more of. With this particular animation style it does seem that occasionally some movements are a bit shaky and abrupt in a way which doesn't necessarily suit the flow of the animation however quite often (as theropod said) these sudden movements work well with the pace. And in the last animation in particular the slightly shaky nature of the dinosaur's movements gives of a very satisfying sense of realism imo. In the first and last animations (of your last couple of posts) the actual body segment of the dinosaur doesn't move much as the dinosaur walks, which makes the animal seem a bit stiff, and in the last animation in particular the leg movements seem slightly unnatural. However in the other animations (especially the Velociraptor) where the torso does move with the movements of the legs, tail and neck it works well. The tail seems quite stiff in some of your animations as well, but this is minor and developing good tail flow takes time as you have to find your own style. This is amazing work, and all of the areas of improvement I've mentioned are all easily developed/fixed with practice. In terms of rank I would say somewhere around high beginner-low intermediate (closer to intermediate)- although I feel i must see a longer animation to be able to make a certain decision. Great job!!
